Your Cup

Your Cup

Enter in….

Revelation 3:7-8 Write this to Philadelphia, to the Angel of the church. The Holy, the True—David’s key in his hand, opening doors no one can lock, locking doors no one can open—speaks: “I see what you’ve done. Now see what I’ve done. I’ve opened a door before you that no one can slam shut. You don’t have much strength, I know that; you used what you had to keep my Word. You didn’t deny me when times were rough.

Be immersed. Dive in. Enter the flow.

Be refreshed. Be submerged.

Be dipped. Enter in. Push off. Leave your side and go to the other side.

Venture forth to the other side. Depart from your side and visit the other side.

Turn from one side to the other side. Flip but don’t flip out.

Flipping heck.

I’m not taking sides. I’m for both sides. Be well prepared. I’m preparing both sides. Flipped from one side to the other. But then ready for consumption.

Sitting where you are not supposed to be? Or is this reserved for you?

When I was preparing this table, I reserved a seat just for you.

No one can deprive you of your place.

Be seated. Just be seated. For I have something special just for you.

Is this not your cup!!

Psalms 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; MY cup overflows.

I have set you apart, I have singled you out. It is your cup that overflows!

Many will look around at the commotion. Many will come to see what is going on?

There is laughter, there is astonishment, there is alarm, there is excitement.

Many will come to clean up the mess, to mop up the flow, to receive the flow, but nothing, no thing can prevent my flow.

They will look at the cup, and see your name engraved upon it.

Like honey that flows down, there will be a sweetness to the taste, a feeling of stickiness, of attachment.

“How did I get so attached”, they will ponder? But they will be stuck, immovable, impacted, awestruck, awe stuck, stuck with awe. Unable to move, stuck in a position of awe.

Take up your position. Just take up your position. This position is reserved for you.

2 Chronicles 20:17 You shall not need to fight in this battle; take your positions, stand still, and see the deliverance of the Lord [Who is] with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Fear not nor be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.

For yours is the cup that overflows.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
