You can Count on me

You can count on me!

The countdown has begun!

Knocked down for the count. Defeated. Unable to get up. The knock out blow. The sucker punch. The last breath pushed out. Winded. Unable to breathe. Unable to recover. A resounding victory.

Decisive. The adjudicator has ruled. Out of bounds. Beyond the boundary. Pushed beyond the boundary.

Laid out for the count. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten!

One will be in, one will be out! The tide has turned. You are in, no longer out. Out for the count. Count him out. Seriously count him out! Begin to count! Count on it. Simple as counting. Count them out and I will count you in.

Get out the abacus because you need more than your fingers to count what I have prepared for you. Count on it, count on me. Add me to your equation. X plus God! Lack + Overflow = Abundance.

I like to count, one hair at a time.

Luke 12:6-7 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And [yet] not one of them is forgotten or uncared for in the presence of God. But [even] the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be struck with fear or seized with alarm; you are of greater worth than many [flocks] of sparrows.

How high can you count! How many steps to your highest place? I am taking you to my highest place.

See over, PTO, please turn over, turn over, turn it over, turn the page. Over the page! You are over this page. Over sight, this is not an oversight, for I am giving you oversight, my sight, for you shall see over, see over, for you shall be over it.

Genesis 43:10-12 For if we had not lingered like this, surely by now we would have returned the second time. And their father Israel said to them, If it must be so, now do this; take of the choicest products in the land in your sacks and carry down a present to the man, a little balm (balsam) and a little honey, aromatic spices and gum (of rock rose) or ladanum, pistachio nuts, and almonds. And take double the [grain] money with you; and the money that was put back in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again with you; there is a possibility that [its being in your sacks] was an oversight.

I’m stirring the pot, a new mix, like porridge, thick and full of my goodness. The honey drizzled on top, like golden icing on the top. “Just right”, not the cereal, but this shall be a serial, episode after episode. I’m purchasing the series. I’ve paid for it in advance. You want to see the pilot episode, it is awesome!

Something special! Like you have never seen before!

Numbers 4:16 And Eleazar son of Aaron the priest shall have charge of the oil for the light, the fragrant incense, the continual cereal offering, and the anointing oil, with the oversight of all the tabernacle and of all that is in it, of the sanctuary and its utensils.

You wonder why I have placed you in the desert. What the enemy has laid waste to, has cleared the ground for, has deprived of all blessing, of all sustenance, has rendered desolate, I consider, I have considered, worthy, the most desolate is the most desirable to me.

It is the place of outpouring, it is the place of the flood. It is the place I will outpour the greatest blessing. Have you not seen with your own eyes what happens in the desert when the flood comes? Wild unexplainable growth, accelerated growth. One moment there is nothing, then the next a lush green pasture.

In one place a tsunami destroys, in the desert it restores.

This is the milk on the cereal, the milk that goes with the honey.

For I have called you to be the restorer of the desolate places, to be the stream of abundance in the place of lack. A river of overflow in the desert! Is this not the just dessert, is this not my justice, is this not my way, to restore what the locust has taken.

Jeremiah 33:10-14 Thus says the Lord: Yet again there shall be heard in this place of which you say, It is a desolate waste, without man and without beast—even in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast— [There shall be heard again] the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing as they bring sacrifices of thanksgiving into the house of the Lord, Give praise and thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good; for His mercy and kindness and steadfast love endure forever! For I will cause the captivity of the land to be reversed and return to be as it was at first, says the Lord. Thus says the Lord of hosts: In this place which is desolate, without man and without beast, and in all its cities, there shall again be dwellings and pastures of shepherds resting their flocks. In the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, in the cities of the South (the Negeb), in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah shall flocks pass again under the hands of him who counts them, says the Lord. Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will fulfill the good promise I have made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah.

Restore balance, I’m restoring balance. You will look at your balance and see an overflow in place of lack. A substitution of one for the other. What you see in negative you will see in credit and more! And yet and yet and suddenly! And suddenly. Unexpected! The unexpected way, via a way that you did not expect!

Expect me to come. For I am coming! Hear the beat, sound the trumpet, see the procession, for they shall come with me to see you. One after another, after another, after another!

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
