Wrapt in the Promise
Look closer. See the intensity of that which wraps around you.
The many threads, the many colours. The many folded cord unable to be broken.
It is a wrap around. It is wrapt around you. It holds tight. It is immovable. It is magnetic. It grabs you. It holds you tight. It’s electric.
Sensitive. Why so sensitive. You feel it now don’t you. You are impacted by it.
It grabs you. I grab you. I am the cord that holds you. Bound but not with binding. Bound but not captured. Bound but without boundary. Held but not contained. Held but not constrained. Tied but not tired. Connected like glue but not stuck.
Embrace that which you cannot grasp. For that which is beyond your grasp embraces you. That which is beyond you is here.
Take hold of the promise. For you have been grasped by the promise. Captured by the promise. Bound to the promise. Wrapped in the promise, wrapt by the promise.
Deuteronomy 11:18-20 Therefore you shall lay up these My words in your minds and hearts and in your entire being, and bind them for a sign upon your hands and as forehead bands between your eyes. And you shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you rise up. And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and on your gates,
That which is broken, strains to be free. But remains bound to the promise. Attracted by the cords, bound by the binding, held firmly by the cords of colour.
Isaiah 61:1 THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the physical and spiritual captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,
For I have bound up the broken. I have gathered the broken pieces, the fragments. For they are no longer twigs, no longer parts of what was, but now fit for purpose. Batons bound. Held by the cord of the promise. Each carefully measured. Different colours. Colour matched. Each of equal length.
Spread apart but bound in the midst by the promise.
A spiral of parts, of pieces, a fan, a circle, a symbol of my infinite glory.
A place to rest, a place to ponder. A place of great potential. A place of release. A place for the race. A place to start. A place to pass. A relay, a place to pass the promise, to carry the promise, to possess the promise. The one multiplied. The place of passing. The extension of the promise.
The marathon sprint. The one passing to the many, but bound together. Running as one but many.
And the streamers stream from their hands. The promise unfolding before their eyes. Each playing a part. As each runs you see the extension of the promise, the rainbow forming before your eyes. The passing has past, each travelling beside, alongside. The one amplified, the one multiplied, the One glorified.
Hebrews 6:17-20 Accordingly God also, in His desire to show more convincingly and beyond doubt to those who were to inherit the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose and plan, intervened (mediated) with an oath. This was so that, by two unchangeable things His promise and His oath in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us, we who have fled to Him for refuge might have mighty indwelling strength and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast the hope appointed for us and set before us. Now we have this hope as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul it cannot slip and it cannotbreak down under whoever steps out upon it—a hope that reachesfarther and enters into the very certainty of the Presence within the veil, Where Jesus has entered in for us in advance, a Forerunner having become a High Priest forever after the order (withthe rank) of Melchizedek.
