War of Words

War of Words

A war of words…. Is their really a contest?

Isaiah 55:11-13 So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out with joy and be led forth [by your Leader, the Lord Himself, and His word] with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; and it shall be to the Lord for a name of renown, for an everlasting sign [of jubilant exaltation] and memorial [to His praise], which shall not be cut off.

Why contest it? Just agree!

Accept my peace.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

Agree with what I say!

Why give weight to the words of a fool?

Why answer a fool according to his folly?

What are you entertaining?

Celebrate my goodness, my favour. Why wait for the enemy to release you, act like you are released!

Did Moses ask to see the Pharaoh? No he had MY permission!

Exodus 5:1 AFTERWARD MOSES and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.

I have given you the permit, the access card, the royal ring, the seal of approval. Why seek approval from the enemy to advance.

Exodus 4:2-4 And the Lord said to him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod. And He said, Cast it on the ground. And he did so and it became a serpent [the symbol of royal and divine power worn on the crown of the Pharaohs]; and Moses fled from before it. And the Lord said to Moses, Put forth your hand and take it by the tail. And he stretched out his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand,

Advance, move forward. Yes move forward is the right word. Run out to meet him. Who comes against me? No I come against those who lay siege to my domain, my chosen!

Can anyone surround me, or limit me, or contain me? No I burst forth, I break the lines of containment. Don’t you see it! Have you not seen it, do my words not testify of it? Jericho, Gideon, David, Moses, Elijah, Jeremiah.

If held captive, it is to break the chains, to free the captives. Bound to be loosed!

Who is really in charge of your destiny? Why kick against the pricks!

Acts 26:13-14 When on the road at midday, O king, I saw a light from heaven surpassing the brightness of the sun, flashing about me and those who were traveling with me. And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice in the Hebrew tongue saying to me, Saul, Saul, why do you continue to persecute Me [to harass and trouble and molest Me]? It is dangerous and turns out badly for you to keep kicking against the pricks [to keep offering vain and perilous resistance].

Be free of persecution! Have a new sight, receive my sight!

Acts 26:17-18 Choosing you out [selecting you for Myself] and delivering you from among this [Jewish] people and the Gentiles to whom I am sending you— To open their eyes that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may thus receive forgiveness and release from their sins and a place and portion among those who are consecrated and purified by faith in Me.

Walk in my revelation! Do you need to focus so much on the circumstance?

Walk like in a trace, don’t come to your senses! Trust me, walk with me!

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
