Unexpected Fruit

For the stick is in my hand.

Drawing in the sand.

My hand drawing in the sand.

Drawing in the sand.

There shall be a drawing in the sand.

One moment here. Another moment there.

Broken but for purpose.

Dead but for purpose.

Once was alive.

But now in my hand.

Placed in my hand.

You shall find your place in my hand.

Hand placed in hand.

Do you need a hand?

Let’s see what happens by my hand.

Once over here, then over there.

In the ground.

Drawing in the ground.

A drawing in the ground.

At first a drawing.

Then a planting.

For that which was broken shall bear fruit.

Like the rod of Aaron.

In my presence there shall be much fruit.

At first the placement.

Then the fruit.

Then the adjusted place.

The new place.

The place of abundance.

The moving the shifting.

At first the movement.

Then the shifting.

In each place growth.

For the stick shall bear fruit.

For growth is in my hand.

The power of growth is in my hand.

For this power I have placed in your hand.

This is what the power of growth looks like.

Numbers 17:5 And the rod of the man whom I choose shall bud, and I will make to cease from Me the murmurings of the Israelites, which they murmur against you.

Lay your hand upon the stick.

For without root, without the capacity to grow, that which I have placed in your hand shall grow.

For the lifeless stick shall bear much fruit.

For it blossoms in your hand.

For in the natural the stick comes from the plant.

In my hand the plant shall come from the stick.

For that which was dead shall bring forth much life.

Numbers 17:8 And the next day Moses went into the Tent of the Testimony, and behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted and brought forth buds and produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds.

See it expand in your hand.

Yes see it expand before your hand.

Feel it expand in your hand.

Feel it expand in your hand.

At first easy to move.

For the stick moves easily in your hand.

Yet the stick shall take root.

For that which was dead shall take root.

For that which was dead shall take root.

For that which was dead shall take root.

For that which was dead shall take root.

For that which was dead shall bear fruit.

For that which was dead shall bear fruit.

For that which was of no use, shall become the shelter for all.

For that which was without fruit shall provide for many.

For that which was fruitless, shall bear much fruit.

For the time of the harvest is here.

What is it you see?

The hand dragging the stick across the sand. Then as it moves from one spot to another it grows and expands. Until the puny stick becomes the great oak tree. Then the vineyard springs forth all around. A path appearing in the midst. From that which is feeble shall come great strength.

For from the place of the grind. From the place of no expectation, from the least likely shall come a great harvest.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
