Turn Your Back

Turn back, what does it mean to turn back?

Turn your back………and row.

The current pulls you forward, assists your movement.

You look up and see the flow retreating before you.

What does it mean to turn your back on the dream, on the promise?

It matters not the way you face, for you can be backward and I will take you forward. You row not by sight, but by faith.

Your back is facing the promise, your face is towards the withdrawal, the past, that which is behind you.

And yet you advance towards the promise!

Advance to where you cannot see, push forward, pull forward, move that which is in your hand.

Whoosh, feel the breeze upon your back, feel the spray as you dip the oars in. One OR, then another OR. Will it be this, OR that? OR both? One and then the other, both ORs, not one will move you forward. One only will send you in circles, both in balance will drive you forwards. The stream flows between the two ORs.

Mark 6:48-52 And having seen that they were troubled and tormented in [their] rowing, for the wind was against them, about the fourth watch of the night [between 3:00–6:00 a.m.] He came to them, walking [directly] on the sea. And He acted as if He meant to pass by them, But when they saw Him walking on the sea they thought it was a ghost, andraised a [deep, throaty] shriek of terror. For they all saw Him and were agitated (troubled and filled with fear and dread). But immediately He talked with them and said, Take heart! I AM! Stop being alarmed and afraid. And He went up into the boat with them, and the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its own beating). And they were astonished exceedingly [beyond measure], For they failed to consider or understand [the teaching and meaning of the miracle of] the loaves; [in fact] their hearts hadgrown callous [had become dull and hadlost the power of understanding].

Hold on to the ORs, they are vital to your movement.

I’m changing the current, the direction of the flow, that which was against you shall now be for you. The pace, the movement, the flow shall accelerate the movement.

You shall sit upon the flow, be “over” the flow, over my flow, you shall be able to “go with the flow”.

Valleys under the flow, shall increase your speed, down the edge, speed down the edge, there shall be a rush. But you shall float above it all, speed down, but rise up, turbulent joy! Joy bursts forth in the turbulence, this ride is meant to be fun!

Turn the tide, the tide is turning, I’m turning the tide, I am the one who turns the tide. Who else can stop the flow, stem the flow, turn the flow, change the flow, over flow, create the flow?

Zechariah 10:11-12 And [the Lord] will pass through the sea of distress and affliction [at the head of His people, as He did at the Red Sea]; and He will smite down the waves of the sea, and all the depths of the [river] Nile shall be dried up and put to shame; and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down and the scepter or rod [of the taskmasters of Egypt] shall pass away. And I will strengthen [Israel] in the Lord, and they shall walk up and down and glory in His name, says the Lord.

Look forward. Look forward to the dream, the gift, the prize, the reward, as you are rear ward, you shall be re warded! Be backward in coming forward. Lead with your back, that which is unprotected and most vulnerable. Put your back into it.

Take the lead from the back, lead from your behind. For I have got your back. I’m pulling you forward. Move the oars but I’m moving you forward.

It is all in the current. The currency is in the current. What is current, what is present, what is trending, what is foremost? Say fore most.

Fore! Enlarge, assert, declare what is most and you shall be foremost.

Set back. Be set back. Move the back and set it. Recline. Lean back. Be set. Be all set. Make adjustments then get ready to drive.
