Touched

Touched

As you are “running out”, I’m running out to meet you.

Step forward, come, come out of seclusion, I want to hear your voice and see your face.

My posture is towards you, not away from you. I am always coming!

I’m always here, I don’t want to nag, I don’t want to be a pest, but I want to be close to you.

Why do you cry? Why so emotional? I can see it written all over your face? What is the matter? What matters? What matter sits between you and me?

Push it aside, prepare the way, come closer, let’s do a “Heath Cliff”. Let us run together. Not apart but together.

Did you not feel the closeness, the passion, the love! This is me showing off. Revealing myself, coming closer. I want to be right up close. Up close and personal.

2 Chronicles 15:12 And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, and to yearn for Him with all their heart’s desire and with all their soul;

Come, just come, please come, unto me, you who are weary and heavy, burdened and weighed down. Just come, come closer. Is it not your favorite song, is it not the one your son stirs you up about? How does it go? “Take me a little deeper, take me a little closer, I want to know you more!”

Hebrews 7:18-19 So a previous physical regulation and command is cancelled because of its weakness and ineffectiveness and uselessness—For the Law never made anything perfect—but instead a better hope is introduced through which we [now] come close to God.

Don’t be sad, be glad, be of good cheer, let me cheer you up. I’m stepping towards you, don’t run away, come a little closer, take me a little deeper I want to know you more. Don’t be shy. Let me touch you, be touched by you. Receive my touch. Let it flow. Let me turn your tears of pain, into tears of joy.

John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]

Comfort Ye my people, be comforted, receive my comfort. I am the baton in your storm. I am the shelter. Let me hide you, take you under my wing!

How do you feel? Mad, sad or bad? Open your arms, and feel this! My embrace. Embrace the thing you cannot grasp. Grasp hold of me, for I have a hold of you.

Be touched, seriously! Be touched.

Matthew 8:3 And He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansedby being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed.

Your eyes water for you were touched. Your eyes water once again now. It is WES, watery eye syndrome. It has been a long time since you allowed your eyes to water. Like holding back the flood! It is a Dam, that can be damned. Say to the Dam, be damned! Be destroyed. I build up the Dam, to allow safe passage, but then it is only a precursor to breakthrough. It is held up only for a moment but then there is break through. It is broken through!

Joshua 3:15-16 And when those who bore the ark had come to the Jordan and the feet of the priests bearing the ark were in the brink of the water—for the Jordan overflows all its banks throughout the time of harvest— Then the waters which came down from above stood and rose up in a heap far off, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those flowing down toward the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt [Dead] Sea, were wholly cut off. And the people passed over opposite Jericho.

How can it be that you were touched, even from a distance, from an unexpected source, in the least emotional place. All around faces glum, playing the beat in worship but with the look of sadness. It stood out to you didn’t it?

But then a radiant smile! It burst forth from the stage.

You feel it again now, don’t you! It wells up from within. It bursts forth, It cannot be held back. It shines forth in the darkness. Like a beacon it bursts forth all around, like a lighthouse, a search light, a spotlight, blinding but illuminating. It is the light the shines in the darkness. A beacon of hope. A ray of hope, an eruption, like shards of light bursting forth all around. More than fireworks, more than the sun, my glory shines!

I didn’t mean to make you cry, but I have touched you, I must have you, I reach out for you, I hold you, I embrace you. Be not sad but joyful, for I am here.

I am the substitute, I am fullness, I am the gap! Do you hear me I am the gap. There is no break, only fullness, only restoration. Be restored. I say be restored. Yes NOW – BE RESTORED!

John 1:16 For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift. Ephesians 1:23 Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].

See now it flows, it cannot be stopped, it flows from the break, from the broken dam. The Dam is damned.

Now sit back and watch the flow. You can see it COMING.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
