This is Your Domain

For this is my chair. I have bought and arranged the furniture. This is my room. This my table.

This is my domain. This my house.

When you sit at the table you represent me. You are my ambassador you are my appointed. You represent me.

But more. You are my son!

Should the king be intimidated by a civilian? No he speaks with authority. My authority! My words!

He looks with calmness. No condescension but with knowledge. With power! With confidence!

Go out this day and speak all I have commanded you to say! For I have ordered, I have ordered your steps, I have ordered your words, I have prepared this one for you.

My spider weaves its web on the table, the web of connection, the web of entanglement. Caught, captured, not to be consumed. But to partake. Partake of my blessing. Feast on my overflow.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
