The Unpacking
The Unpacking
1 Samuel 17:20 So David rose up early next morning, left the sheep with a keeper, took the provisions, and went, as Jesse had commanded him. And he came to the encampment as the host going forth to the battleground shouted the battle cry.
Unpack. Move in. So much to unpack. You are established. You are not going anywhere.
Be settled.
This is permanent not temporary. This move is to inhabit, to occupy. This the place of settlement. Take the keys this place is yours. This your place. The place with your name on it. Reserved for you. Not A room but the whole building is yours. Not the tenant, but the landlord. The Lord of the land. Not part of the establishment. But THE establishment.
Psalms 40:2 He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings.
(Turn to your neighbour and say you had better give me some room. LOL)
Lots of goodies in the bag.
1 Samuel 17:22 David left his packages in the care of the baggage keeper and ran into the ranks and came and greeted his brothers.
Unpack the first, but then more underneath. You have carried more than you can see. There is lots underneath.
I have kept it hidden from you. But now I am showing off. I am beginning to show that which has been buried underneath. Take the top off. The top layer remove it. The second layer is now revealed.
Don’t worry about the room. I have provided much storage. Many rooms. Lot of compartments. An organic expansive container.
It is the place of expansion.
Do not be limited in your thinking. Don’t worry about where you will put it. I will make room. Provide space. Spacious. I love the wide open space!
Settle it in your spirit. Be settled. Be calm. Be at peace. Rest here. You are safe here.
No movement. Move in. No need to go out. I’m bringing to you! They will come from afar.
The Lord will come to your house. Where I am two or three with gather. I’m gathering more than two or three. Expect a full house. A gathering. A shindig.
A community. A party. A celebration.
