The Seed of Prosperity

The seed of prosperity

You wanted to call this one “The pain of the promise”!

But I have called it “The seed of peace in the place of prosperity”

For in the place of pain I have set before you peace.

I have laden the table with peace.

You sent out a search party looking for conflict, but came up empty handed.

For it is not what it seems.

For the place of lack shall be the place of greatest abundance.

The desert place shall become the lush green pasture.

For I love to make something out of nothing.

Even more so the whole out of that which was broken.

Prophesy this.

Expect this.

In the place of the dry I shall make it fertile.

In the place of barrenness comes new birth. The birth of the multiple. Two for the price of one. The many from the place of the stolen, the desolate, the defeated.

For my glory is best displayed in the place of brokenness.

For my glory breaks through.

You want to say to me “this is how I see it”, but I am saying to you the same.

In the place of pain, what is it you see?

Desolation, barrenness, brokenness, the loss, the hurt, the missing piece, the peace that was stolen, the place of the crying, the downcast, the off cut, the shattered dream, the place without hope.

This is what I see:

The place of great fruitfulness, the place of the giant fruit, the multiplied harvest, the place of the outpouring, the festive place, the place of abundant joy, overflowing joy, the place of restoration, the place of glory, the place of turbulent victory, the ripple of sound across the land, the place where fear and trembling cease, the place where joy resides.

Tell me what you now see:

The stream bursting forth from beneath like a fountain it rises higher and higher, spraying out across the barren ground, like a giant sprinkler. Rendering that which it touches fertile. From the dry ground the fruitful trees arise, for this is the place of great fruitfulness. Accelerated harvest, like never seen before, demand beyond my expectation. I want to say demand that exceeds supply, yet it is not the case, for such is the growth of that which you have supplied.

For from the place of defeat, from the place of dryness, from the place of lack, from the place where all you have left are the bones of that which once was mighty, what is your question?

Ezekiel 37:1 THE HAND of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. My question is – why have you brought me to this place of defeat?

For this place is your destiny.

For it is fitting that the one who is called to be “the restorer of ancient ruins” should find his home in the place of bones.

You ask yourself “what can I do with all this, as these ruins I don’t know how to restore?”

Yet this is the work of my hands. Before I formed you, I knew you, before you existed I new you.

So ask another question.

I am lost for words.

“Can these bones live?”

Lord you know just the right question to ask. Yet do not wait for my answer.

Have I not called you to be a prophet, have I not given you the eyes of Elisha, have I not given you my insight, my foresight, my authority to declare that which is not as though it is!

You want to talk to me about the pain of it all, you want to speak lack over it all, to describe the extent of the pain.

This is my command to you – PROPHESY to it!

Tell me how it SHALL be, describe how you would like it to be…

Ezekiel 37:10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath and spirit came into [the bones], and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceedingly great host. Ezekiel 37:11-14 Then He said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried up and our hope is lost; we are completely cut off. Therefore prophesy and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, O My people; and I will bring you [back home] to the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord [your Sovereign Ruler], when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, O My people. And I shall put My Spirit in you and you shall live, and I shall place you in your own land. Then you shall know, understand, and realize that I the Lord have spoken it and performed it, says the Lord.

Repeat after me “for IT SHALL BE GLORIOUS!”

There is nothing that our God can’t do. Oh praise the name that makes a way!”

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
