The Seed Now Unveiled

The Seed Now Unveiled

The split seed.

The broken cover. The broken covering. Unwrap the seed. Break cover. Break the cover. Rip open the cover. Take off the cover. Unveil my gift. Show off the fruit. Show off my seed. Show off my substance. The dawn of the light. Layers of light. My lightness rests on the dark heavy ground. The darkness lifted to reveal my glory. To show the hidden detail. The lifting of the light, by light, unveils my glory. A great unveiling of the land of the promise. A glorious unveiling. A moment amongst moments. A monument to momentum.

The contents of the seed, spilt across the ground. The fragments embedded in the ground. Strewn across and under the ground. Bursting forth all around. Rubbed together. Ground to a powder. Invisible. Not seen, but now embedded seed. Part of the firmament. Firm a meant. Meant to be firm. Firmness embedded. Not shifting. Part of the ground. Inseparable.

Designed to grow. It’s time to see the results. You know the seed from that which grows. Who can tell what it is from the seed? They shall know what it is from the look of the fruit. The product of labour x DNA x soil equals fruit.

But I first give you fruit then the gift of multiplication. Be fruitful then multiply. First the fruit, then the seed, embedded, then multiplication. From the one comes the many in my world. The single seed gives multiple fruit. The fruit when broken down delivers multiplied seed. Abundance is the product of my seed. More X more equals, multiplied multiples, equals abundance.

My seed shall not return to me void, without substance. For in my substance is the DNA of multiplication. More from less that is my maths. I don’t do addition, only multiplication. Rubbed in my hands the single becomes more and more refined components.

From the broken comes the refined. From the fragment comes the whole. From the rough comes the polished from the drop comes the fountain. From the dry comes the river. From the parched comes the stream. From the still comes the flow. From the stagnant comes the fresh water. From the bitter comes the sweet. Cast another log on the water. For it shall float. It shall raise the heavy.

2 Kings 6:1-7 THE SONS of the prophets said to Elisha, Look now, the place where we live before you is too small for us. Let us go to the Jordan, and each man get there a [house] beam; and let us make us a place there where we may dwell. And he answered, Go. One said, Be pleased to go with your servants. He answered, I will go. So he went with them. And when they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees. But as one was felling his beam, the axhead fell into the water; and he cried, Alas, my master, for it was borrowed! The man of God said, Where did it fall? When shown the place, Elisha cut off a stick and threw it in there, and the iron floated. He said, Pick it up. And he put out his hand and took it.

A reversal. A swap. The light for the heavy. The prototype for the product. The stick for the axe. The God made for the Man made. The God plus man made. The stick for the tool. The blunt for the sharp. The broken wood for the sharp stick. The off cut for the one that cuts off.

Exodus 15:23-25 When they came to Marah, they could not drink its waters for they were bitter; therefore it was named Marah [bitterness]. The people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? And he cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree which he cast into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There [the Lord] made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He proved them,

The God made, impacts that which is stagnant. It alters the substance of it. Suspended in the fluid is more dense than that which rests upon it. Causing it to float. See the substance in the water. Elevates the heavy, the solid, causes it to rise. Cause and effect. The light lifts the heavy. The balance is restored. Not what you expect. The light touch, lifts the heavy load. The light sinks, the heavy rises. The heavy imprinted on that which is light. The hand imprinted on the water. The foot elevated on the fluid. The heavy raised by the light.

How? It is the substance of the flow. What is contained in the flow. What does it hold? What does it comprise? No longer contained, it now contains, that which contained it.

The tide now flows out. Revealing more of the shore. Reveals that which was underneath. Unveils that which was hidden. More now to stand upon. More of the sure line. A broader path forward. Now more width. More room. More space. More room to build. More space to establish. Solid foundations on that which was refined by the tossing waves of the storm. Established by the waves, near the flow. The waves now calmly lapping on the edge. In close proximity. Nearby. You shall not forget the wave, the flow, for it now laps on the edge.

The house now established near the Jordan.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
