The Seal of Promise

The seal of promise.

The multicoloured scarf. The multiple scarfs. Many colours. Stripped of adornment. Back to the raw. The raw materials.

The rope, no a scarf. Bondage transformed. One colour, now many colours. The hand flows. It flows from your hand, from that which you carry. It is carried by my wind.

It blows into a stream. It becomes a stream of many colours, a rainbow stream.

The stream of the promise.

Isaiah 54:10-11 For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you. O you afflicted [city], storm-tossed and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in fair colors [in antimony to enhance their brilliance] and lay your foundations with sapphires.

Now a quilt, a coming together of the woven pieces. A warm blanket. Wrapped in the promise. Hold on tight.

On drop at a time. It comes to a point. A monument to my glory. My time. The experience. The time spent. A pinnacle an elevation. A point. To put a finer point on it. A fine point. No finer point.

The trickle flows down. An overflow. Not a drop but now a flow. Look down an see the overflow at your feet. The overflow is at your feet.

Cotton wool, surrounded all around.

Then a burst of wind, comes up and billows up under the quilt. It is again my breath of expansion.

It shines brighter than the noon day. The brightest of lights. The light bursts through the promise pieces, the pieces of the promise. It looks like fraid edges, but the pieces hold, the connections hold. Be not afraid of what looks like a frayed edge. I have bound it together.

Pushed through the procession.

Psalms 42:4 These things I [earnestly] remember and pour myself out within me: how I went slowly before the throng and led them in procession to the house of God [like a bandmaster before his band, timing the steps to the sound of music and the chant of song], with the voice of shouting and praise, a throng keeping festival.

Lights all around. A pushing into the lights. It is my reception. The reception of the process, the procession.

1 Corinthians 4:9 For it seems to me that God has made an exhibit of us apostles, exposing us to view last [of all, like men in a triumphal procession who are] sentenced to death [and displayed at the end of the line]. For we have become a spectacle to the world [a show in the world’s amphitheater] with both men and angels [as spectators].

It is what you carry. It is a scepter of authority. The rod of the priest. The sword of my authority.

The symbol of My power. The emblem, the icon, the image, the brand, the insignia, the seal.

Song of Songs 8:6 Set me like a seal upon your heart, like a seal upon your arm; for love is as strong as death, jealousy is as hard and cruel as Sheol (the place of the dead). Its flashes are flashes of fire, a most vehement flame [the very flame of the Lord]!

The enemy falls back as their eyes see the sign of their defeat!

Fallback. You will see a fallback. The enemy shall fall back. You will not need a fallback.

Romans 8:31-32 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?] He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?

In the womb of promise, a hand extended to me pulling on mine to bring forth birth.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
