The Point of No Return

The Point of No Return

Point of no return.

Exodus 14:3 For Pharaoh will say of the Israelites, They are entangled in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.

Come and stand on the end point. Take your stand on the end point.

What is the point of no return?

Exodus 13:17-18 When Pharaoh let the people go, God led them not by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was nearer; for God said, Lest the people change their purpose when they see war and return to Egypt. But God led the people around by way of the wilderness toward the Red Sea. And the Israelites went up marshaled [in ranks] out of the land of Egypt.

It is the place that you don’t return from, where there is no return, no return on your investment.

It is the end of slavery, the beginning of freedom. The point where your status changes. From Slave to Son.

The slave works for the master, the son receives from his father, inhabits the place of his father, possesses what the father possesses.

Come to an end. For this is the end of the beginning. Look now for my new thing. Now it springs forth. It rises up, it springs forth. Bursting forth like a fountain across the country.

See the rainbow of the promise reflected upon you, in the spray.

Can anytime come to an end, unless I complete it?

Is not the promise, a promise to complete it?

Have I not promised to complete the work that I have begun?

Philippians 1:6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

What have I begun? What is the work? For it is a good work! It is the work of goodness, my goodness!

What is it to begin? How does the beginning differ from the end? How will I know when you have finished?

It is the place where I shall reap a return on my investment. The place where only the son returns, the slave remains for the master is no more.

What is a slave without a master? No longer defined by status, or by position, but by blood, by heritage, by inheritance!

So what have you lost? What have you spent? What is your investment? What is your seed? Where is your gift?

Multiplication despite oppression, multiplied seed, under cover, but now exposed. Once dictated by circumstance, by evil, by a cloud of darkness. Now revealed for my glory, by the light of my countenance.

How is it that you are here?

First a coming out, an exodus, an extraction!

Second, the release of plunder! A restoration, a compensation, a payment, a down payment, a deposit on what is to come, a sign of the promise!

Exodus 12:30-31 Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead. He called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, get out from among my people, both you and the Israelites; and go, serve the Lord, as you said. Exodus 12:33 The Egyptians were urgent with the people to depart, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We are all dead men. Exodus 12:35-36 The Israelites did according to the word of Moses; and they [urgently] asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver and of gold, and clothing. The Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they gave them what they asked. And they stripped the Egyptians [of those things].

Third, a swap, an exchange, from taking to receiving, from digging to building, to planting.

Produce, for you. Receive my investment, receive that which is now grown, receive the fruit!

From slavery, to possessing the food of the Giant, reaping their investment.

Consider, reaping what you did not sow! Be the master! The one who reaps what he did not sow!

Luke 19:21 For I was [constantly] afraid of you, because you are a stern (hard, severe) man; you pick up what you did not lay down, and you reap what you did not sow.

The anointing falls in your lap, as shall the harvest!

Luke 6:38 Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pourinto [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.

Be confident, exuberant and expansive in the Holy of Israel. The one who is set apart, sets you apart, be set, apart!

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor andearthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the needbe self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
