The Paved Way

A sprinkle here, a sprinkle there.

For that which is so small will pave the way for that which is big.

A grain of sand, another grain of sand, a sprinkle here and sprinkle there.

The gap filler, the gap leveller.

More upon more, multiplied multiples.

The feeble thing, the downtrodden thing, that which was stepped upon.

The small thing, the insignificant thing, the feeble thing.

Jeremiah 5:22 Do you not fear and reverence Me? says the Lord. Do you not tremble before Me? I placed the sand for the boundary of the sea, a perpetual barrier beyond which it cannot pass and by an everlasting ordinance beyond which it cannot go? And though the waves of the sea toss and shake themselves, yet they cannot prevail against the feeble grains of sand which God has ordained by nature to be sufficient for His purpose; though the billows roar, yet they cannot pass over that barrier. Is not such a God to be reverently feared and worshiped?

More upon more, for this is the point of tipping, the tipping point.

For I am piling it on, I am pouring it out.

For it shall spread out. At first a mound here and a mound there. Taken from here to there.

Designed to be the filler, the gap filler, but possessing great strength.

For it is the boundary setter, the one that the fiercest, the strongest wave of opposition cannot cross.

For it cannot cross my line, for my line is sure, my line is the shore.

But now I spread it out, I am smoothing it out.

For the hard thing shall rest upon the smooth thing, the smallest thing.

For on the multitude of the small things I will rest the biggest thing.

For I am placing the biggest blocks upon it, the strongest, the heaviest things, the hardest rock.

In a moment, in an instant, a path, a broad road, a multi lane road, a highway for many to walk upon.

Isaiah 40:3-5 A voice of one who cries: Prepare in the wilderness the way of the Lord clear away the obstacles; make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God! Every valley shall be lifted and filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked and uneven shall be made straight and level, and the rough places a plain. And the glory (majesty and splendor) of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

For the smallest things shall pave the way for the largest things.

For each piece shall fit with another piece, for I am placing each piece into place.

For this is a new thing, a new way, a new path, a new high way, for those who shall be elevated.

For this is the way of the high, the lifted up, the glorious way, the way of glory.

Zechariah 9:15-17 The Lord of hosts shall defend and protect them; and they shall devour and they shall tread on their fallen enemies as on slingstones that have missed their aim, and they shall drink of victory and be noisy and turbulent as from wine and become full like bowls used to catch the sacrificial blood, like the corners of the sacrificial altar. And the Lord their God will save them on that day as the flock of His people, for they shall be as the precious jewels of a crown, lifted high over and shining glitteringly upon His land. For how great is God’s goodness and how great is His beauty! And how great He will make Israel’s goodliness and Israel’s beauty! Grain shall make the young men thrive and fresh wine the maidens.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
