The Established Path

What is your aspect on my ratio?

For my aspect is not proportional to your ratio?

My measure is not yours, my scale is out of proportion to yours?

How do you measure abundance?

Grain by grain?

Gain by gain?

What you obtain?

What you possess or what you shall possess?

What you had or have or what is to come?

How do you measure that which still growing?

What resemblance is the diameter of the seed to the circumference of the tree, or its height or its potential?

You say “God only knows”, when asked, what does fullness look like? What does released potential look like?

You are right my son, I know the height, the depth, the circumference of it.

You wonder at the potential of it, you wonder at its size, you wonder what is shall become.

Just pause in wonder, for it shall be wonderful it shall be full of wonder. How can you figure it out? What science shall you apply to it? How will you analyse it, for the data is full of anomalies, exceptions, impossibilities, a pattern of wonder.

What is the pattern for the new? How does the stream flow upon the dry ground? If this is the first time, how do you know where it will go? For there is no pattern? There is no established path?

Isaiah 43:18-19 Do not earnestly remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

What it is you believe? What is it you stand upon? How is the new established? What is the path towards establishment?

Psalms 40:2-3 He drew me up out of a horrible pit a pit of tumult and of destruction, out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings. And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord.

For now you understand what I have been saying! For now you know in part, but you shall soon know of my fullness.

For you have much potential for fullness.

I am making the way of the full.

I am establishing the going, the way of the going, the path of the going, the path of newness.

For you shall say “what’s new?” And yet be the only one who knows the answer.

For have I not given you the knowledge of the new? You wonder what the new path will look like, yet you have already walked on the path of newness?

You know what it is like to do something new? When was the last time you did something old? For don’t know what it is like to be the same as another.

Yet your path is the one of establishment.

You go looking for the establishment, and yet your path is the one of the established.

For I have established your going’s. I have laid the foundations at each step.

Step by step, line by line, precept by precept.

For at each step, a new step, an elevated step, a launching pad.

You wonder at what that which is new will be like, you strive to grasp it, to plan for it and yet you know not where you are going.

Am I not establishing it?

Is it not the path of abundant multiplication. The unknown, uncertain amount, the increasing amount -multiplied?

Did not the one who went before, go out with the few carrying my promise with him, and come back from the place of restriction, the place of confinement carrying the treasure of his captor?

For the 70 shall become the million, the few shall overtake the many, the 5 shall chase the hundred, the 100 shall overtake the 10000. The few shall dominate the many.

Leviticus 26:8-9 Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. For I will be leaning toward you with favor and regard for you, rendering you fruitful, multiplying you, and establishing and ratifying My covenant with you.

For your potential shall be released. The captive shall rule over the captor. The one who had little shall now possess much.

Fear not for I have established this path, a highway for my chosen, where the enemy cannot cross over.

Isaiah 35:5-8 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap like a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing for joy. For waters shall break forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. And the burning sand and the mirage shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lay resting, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. And a highway shall be there, and a way; and it shall be called the Holy Way. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for the redeemed; the wayfaring men, yes, the simple ones and fools, shall not err in it and lose their way.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
