The Breaker

I chose you first!

I thought of you from the very beginning!

I chose you from the desolate place, for the desolate place.

You are drawn to the empty place.

You cannot contain yourself!

Did you get that! You cannot CONTAIN yourself.

For you are beyond that which contains!

The enemy says “contain yourself”, “be contained”, “hold back”, “withdraw”.

But you cannot!

The tension rises within you. For you cannot fallback, there is no fallback, “fall back” is not in your vocabulary. You detest it! You are reviled by it. You cannot go back. There is no retreat, there is no surrender!

You feel it don’t you!

An uprising, welling up inside you!

“You won’t be overcome”

A bursting forth, an agitator within, spurring you on.

“Let’s go for it”….

These words are ever present on your lips.

Your lips cannot contain them.

For you we made to burst forth, to break the lines that contain.

Your hand trembles now, and you struggle to contain yourself, to compose yourself. Backed into a corner as you write this. Even now you cannot be contained!

For have I not married you to the “breaker”. Did you think that was a coincidence!!!!

For you shall have breakthrough, you must have break through.

Pressed down, you press back. It is in your nature to wrestle with the darkness, to fight the emptiness, to resist the desolation.

What is with the flow? What is with the bursting forth?

You are my equaliser, you are my gap filler, but more, you were designed to break the limit, to stretch the boundary.

To respond to lack, by bringing fullness.

For the absent – presence!

For the empty, fullness!

For the contained, breakthrough!

For the confined, release!

For the lost, belonging!

For the searching, a destination!

For the explorer, discovery!

For what is it that you contain?

It pours from your pores when you pause!

John 7:38 He who believes in Me who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow continuously springs and rivers of living water.

For my flow shall not be contained!

Shall be without containment.

Containment shall be without.

Containment shall be marked “absent”.

When the roll is called, in the place of “containment”, shall be the one called “bursting forth”

Repeat after me “I shall not lack, I will overflow”

It is time to cast down, being down cast!

Throw it off, abandon it with reckless abandon. Thrust it off you, push it off, cast it down.

Time to be uplifted, for the uplift, for the lifting up, the down to rise up, the prostrate to be elevated, that which is seated to arise!

Take up your position, for you shall restore victory!

The defeated shall be my champions, the lost shall be my pioneers. The peasant shall be king, the lowly shepherd boy, the king I have appointed.

I have chosen you, to establish the more than enough, to bring forth overflow.

Open wide your arms, for as wide as they are extended, shall be the circumference of your territory.

The trembling of your hand, is the evidence of the trembling in the enemies camp, when they hear your steps.

There shall be a reversal!

Be my Goliath! Speak to the dry places, for they shall be filled. The enemy trembling under the trees all around.

Move forward, rise up, burst forth!

Micah 2:12-13 I will surely gather all of you, O Jacob; I will surely collect the remnant of Israel. I will bring them Israel together like sheep in a fold, like a flock in the midst of their pasture. They the fold and the pasture shall swarm with men and hum with much noise. The Breaker will go up before them. They will break through, pass in through the gate and go out through it, and their King will pass on before them, the Lord at their head.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
