Sweetness
That which was salty now shall be sweet.
No more bittersweet just sweet.
For you are my sweetie, my sweetness, my sweetheart.
Pillars of salt, now pillars of sweetness.
Not sickly sweet, just a sweetener.
“Can I have a sweetener”
For the making of sweetness, let’s start with a layer of sugar. Then some all sorts, covered in golden syrup, then add some icing sugar on top. Then shards of toffee.
Welcome to candy land.
Fairy floss for all. Streets paved with toffee.
Follow the path to the special place. The palace, the palatial place with the throne of sugar. Preserved for my sweetie.
This is transformative. No longer salty but sweetie. For you shall be called my sweetie.
For I have a sweet tooth, I enjoy sweetness. You have had the main course, now it is time for dessert.
For I want to end with sweetness, with the sweet taste of sweetness. It is the taste that lingers. It is the taste that puts a smile on your face. There is good food, that has substance, but dessert is extravagant.
This is the season of extravagant, extravaganzas, the season of extra extras. The time, the occasion of more.
Not occasionally more, but the occasion of more. Celebrate the occasion of more. Prepare for it, expect it, celebrate it, look out for it, add another place at the table for it. Plan for the extra. Position for it, but open to it, be open for it, make room for it.
I’m not holding back, you won’t be embarrassed.
Expect the flow, let me flow.
Have you not seen, have you not heard? Before – held back, now – flowing over, extravagant.
This is not the season of holding back, this is the time for flowing over. I’m not giving you just enough, now more than enough.
More than receive.
Expect abundance, plan for abundance, pour out abundance.
When you ask for more, you shall have it.
Come back for seconds, and thirds. Have as much as you want. Unlimited supply.
I’m not pouring from a jug, my supply is without limit!
You have crossed the line, beyond the limit, over the edge.
You cannot wipe the memory, I have imprinted it upon your mind.
Sweetness, upon sweetness, grain upon grain, pressed down, shaped for more, ready for consumption.
Raining lollies, falling into my net.
Have you not seen, have you not heard? You feel it now don’t you!
There is no escape from my extravagant extravagance.
Who needs sweetness? For it offers no nutritional value. It is purely extravagant. It’s purpose is to enlarge!
Yes my child, you have discerned correctly. This is for my pleasure, for my glory.
For the syrup flows, full of sugar, beyond preservative, this is for taste, this is for pleasure, this is for joy.
John 10:10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
