Sweet Resonance

a : the intensification and enriching of a musical tone by supplementary vibration b : a quality imparted to voiced sounds by vibration in anatomical resonating chambers or cavities (such as the mouth or the nasal cavity) c : a quality of richness or variety d : a quality of evoking response

For I have caused you to resonate.

For you shall have resonance.

For I have positioned you amidst the wave.

I have amplified your position.

I have positioned you in the midst, in the midst, at the centre.

You are that which causes the ripple.

Confined to bring release. In the place of release. As the means of release. My instrument of release. Through you I shall bring release. You are the key to release.

I’m amplifying the power in your hand, the position, your position of release. I’m placing you in position. For you are in the right place at the right time.

For your handshake shall cause the atmosphere to shake. The impact amplified, the enemy silenced.

Like the instrument of David you shall drown out the sound of the enemy, the silence shall be golden.

For in your hands I have brought forth gold.

You see it now, your hand in the stream brings forth gold. Your hand in the sand brings forth gold. For that which is small shall have great impact.

What’s with all the buzzing you ask?

It is my bees making honey.

My sweetness, surrounded by sweetness.

An outpouring of that which is sweet, an overload of sugar.

Your hand upon that which is sweet.

You shall leave a sweet impression. They shall see where your hand was placed. For you have the power to imprint, an imprint of my presence.

An abundance of sugar. Sweetness all around.

Just when you thought you had had enough there is more sweetness. From the cup that overflows to the reservoir that overflows.

You hold fast to the edge, you peer over the edge, you pull yourself up to look over the edge, and what is it you see?

The vast containment of sugar, the reserves of sugar, as far as I could see the whiteness, the brightness of sugar. And then suddenly a tipping point, the point of tipping. The pulling down of the edge, the movement of the boundary line, the line of of boundary.

For it flows all over the ground. All shall see and experience my sweetness.

For I have placed in your hand the power to pull down, to release the boundary, to break the boundary, to remove the wall, to break all limitation.

A piece of resin in my hand, the strong application of resin upon the bow, the strength king of the edge, for greater application, for greater intensity, in order that each stroke may be amplified.

For I have caused that which was closed to open, to burst forth, to blossom. For this is my symbol of opening, the gaping of the mouth, the expression of awe.

Song of Songs 2:1-4 SHE SAID I am only a little rose or autumn crocus of the plain of Sharon, or a humble lily of the valleys that grows in deep and difficult places. But Solomon replied, Like the lily among thorns, so are you, my love, among the daughters. Like an apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved shepherd among the sons cried the girl! Under his shadow I delighted to sit, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love for love waved as a protecting and comforting banner over my head when I was near him. Isaiah 35:1-2 THE WILDERNESS and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the rose and the autumn crocus. It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the excellency of Mount Carmel and the plain of Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the majesty and splendor and excellency of our God.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
