Swamped

## Swamped

And here you will find the produce.

In the place of the reeds and the rushes.

In the place of the cutting edges.

In the place of the sharp edge.

In the place of the bend.

In the place of the parting.

In the place of the fountain.

In the place of the overflow.

In the place of the small thing you shall find the big thing.

Hidden beneath the small thing you shall find the large fruit.

You will find that which you least expect.

Under the small shrub you will find the large fruit.

It is in the under growth.

In the place that is under there shall be growth.

You shall find the growth under.

In the undergrowth.

In the place of growth.

For there shall be growth for that which is underneath.

When the flow subsides.

When that which overwhelms passes.

When the waters subside.

For I have given you a unique thing.

A staff that looks unlike anything else.

A walking stick with the feathers of distinction. Something unusual, something rarely used, but so useful.

Something that when used will change everything. Yet I have put so much of the flow into you that it must come out of you.

For when you have the sinking feeling, expect a growth season. For that which sinks SHALL produce abundance.

That which sinks into the flow must grow.

For when the water subsides.

For when the water subsides.

For in the place of the subsidence.

For in the place of the fallen.

For in the path of the fallen.

For I am lighting the way.

Many ways but one dominant path.

For my light is sprinkled on the way.

For I am lighting the way.

For as you walk back, there shall be no fall back.

For there you find yourself in the place of the falling.

As you stand on the point you shall look back and see my glory, the glory of it all.

For each path, represents a branch.

For in the place of the fallen you shall see the place of the rising.

For I am restoring all that was lost.

For each phase has served my purpose.

For you find yourself in the place of great beauty.

For you remember so well the bulldozer.

The flattening of all the land all around.

The removal of all that once had grown.

The deforestation of the mighty forest.

But one tree refused to lie down.

One tree bounced back to its full height.

On tree refused to bow down.

Tattered and torn.

Once tattered and torn.

But now a mighty strong tree.

Now resting in a stately place, at the centre of my purpose.

High and lifted up.

Be high and lifted up.

Restored into my fullness.

The resource, the shelter, the point, the point of my fullness, the pinnacle of my fullness.

Isaiah 61:3
To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion—to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit—that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

My tree of celebration.

It’s presence announcing my presence.

For it glistens in my light.

For it streams with my light.

A beacon of my fullness.

A symbol of my delight.

A monument to my goodness.

The place of the uprising.

The place upon which I have placed all my goodness.

Repeat after me and “say my goodness”

For when it sinks into the mud.

For when it sinks into the mud.

For when my seed sinks into the mud.

For when the water subsides.

For when that which overwhelms subsides.

For when the flood subsides.

For when the flood has served my purpose.

For when the flood sinks into my ground.

Then there shall be abundance.

For the seed has need of much supply.

For the flood only serves to bring forth my harvest.

For I am replanting my forest.

I am seeding a new forest.

Full restoration of all that was lost.

Even in the place of the fallen, there shall a path be made.

In every place where my produce fell, there shall be produce.

For in every way, in every path there shall be growth. Growth in abundance.

Even the undergrowth shall be higher than your head.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
