Succulent

The word is succulent.

Once brittle now succulent

Once fragile now strong.

Braking off the broken. Stripping off the withered to reveal the restored. From chaff the wind blows away to the seed blown that will BLOW you away!

From that which carries no weight to that which bears much weight.

From the broken branch, pushed up against the hardened ground to the restored branch that flexs that bends before you. That bends only in your hand. That bends but cannot break. From the gray to the green.

Prophesy to the dry and dead plants, to the withered and broken. Breathe upon the withered and the broken, the crushed the defeated. The dead, the barren, the lifeless, those without life. Those missing life.

Psalms 1:1-4 BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly following their advice, their plans and purposes, nor stands submissive and inactive in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down to relax and rest where the scornful and the mockers gather. But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted and tended by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper and come to maturity.

From your presence comes the rush, the wind, the wind in their sails.

You see it now. The wind blows against the chaff. The last straw. The last stand. And yet this, BEHOLD this, hold on to this. This is the wind of restoration. It blows and that which was dead is restored. Vibrance, vibrant, vibrancy. No longer staggering, but many shall be staggered at what I am doing. The unexpected. The uniform, the gray, the broken, the dead, the colourless, those absent of colour.

Restored to a field of many colours. A splash of colour here, another splash of colour there. The work of an artist. Painted by an artist. But not a covering, a defining skin, the true expression of who they are.

Succulent, juicy, well formed, stripped of the skin of deformity, covered afresh, a new skin, a new power, a new power, a fresh coat, but more than skin deep. It pours from their pours, it comes from that which you possess. Possess my presence.

You possess my presence, pass on my presence, share my presence as a present. Give my presence as a present.

Utter my presence from your lips. Blow my presence upon that which is dead, breathe my life into that which was dead. I declare new life. New fullness. New growth.

Breaking the outer shell to reveal that which I have birthed within. That which appears to be dead, shall burst forth with life.

Embrace that which you cannot grasp. Embrace the ground beneath your feet. Embrace that which you possess. Possess that which you embrace. Stretch forth your hand, ready to embrace, not brace, but ready to embrace.

Daniel 10:16-19 And behold, one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke. I said to him who stood before me, O my lord, by reason of the vision sorrows and pains have come upon me, and I retain no strength. For how can my lord’s servant who is so feeble talk with this my lord? For now no strength remains in me, nor is there any breath left in me. Then there touched me again one whose appearance was like that of a man, and he strengthened me. And he said, O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you! Be strong, yes, be strong. And when he had spoken to me, I was strengthened and said, Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.

Hi, I'm Seedcaster

This site is about elevating the word, lifting what God says higher than our circumstance -what we see with our own eyes, our perspectives of knowledge and understanding.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
