Stillness

I’m still here.

I am here in the stillness.

Be still and know.

Know and be still.

Have knowledge of me. Experience stillness. Experience me still.

Come and sit with me beside, be side, be along side. Be on my side. Be on my side.

Come and sit with me upon the edge.

Revelation 7:17 For the Lamb Who is in the midst of the throne will be their Shepherd, and He will guide them to the springs of the waters of life; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Sit with me upon the edge of the stillness.

Be still with me upon the edge.

Inherit stillness. Possess my stillness.

Carry my stillness.

For I possess the stillness. Above all I remain, still!

I am still here.

For the flow drips from your hand.

My flow has come to fill the gaps, the crevices, the valleys.

For the desolate places shall be filled. Shall still be fullness. Shall be filled with my stillness.

For that which is calm now flows.

My stillness flows. My flow is not stagnant. My flow brings life. My stillness remains. Remain in my stillness. Inhabit my stillness. Abide in my stillness. Be still in my stillness.

Say ahhhhh!

Just pause, just relax, just be calm, pour out my stillness.

Above all things I remain.

There is no absence of me.

For my presence is still here. From my present is stillness.

Psalms 23:1-2 A Psalm of David. THE LORD is my Shepherd to feed, guide, and shield me, I shall not lack. He makes me lie down in fresh, tender green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. Mark 4:37-41 And a furious storm of wind of hurricane proportions arose, and the waves kept beating into the boat, so that it was already becoming filled. But He Himself was in the stern of the boat, asleep on the leather cushion; and they awoke Him and said to Him, Master, do You not care that we are perishing? And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was immediately a great calm (a perfect peacefulness). He said to them, Why are you so timid and fearful? How is it that you have no faith (no firmly relying trust)? And they were filled with great awe and feared exceedingly and said one to another, Who then is this, that even wind and sea obey Him?

Note and observe well.

“And it was already becoming filled”

“And they were filled with great awe”

For I have muzzled the voice of the enemy.

I have caused the turbulence to cease.

For the storm must bow to the voice of stillness, the presence of stillness.

Be at rest and leave the rest to me.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
