So here you find yourself.

So here you have found yourself.

You find yourself wrestling with the dimmer switch.

Well here is what I think of that!

Let’s just break the dial.

I have broken it clean off.

For there is no dimming your light.

You feel the layer, layer upon layer, blanket upon blanket.

They intend it for comfort, but for you it is suffocating.

Smothering the light, covering the light, dimming the light….

But this is no ordinary light!

You are my light!

This is how I see it.

Footsteps of light glowing in the dark wherever you walk.

For you know the glow.

Bathed in the glow.

Shining brighter than the sun.

Be fully immersed, take a deep dive.

For you are the bomb!

Jump in the deep end.

No seriously jump in the deep end!

Be reckless.

Go for it!

Abandon all restraint.

For they lay it upon you.

But for me it is only piles.

Heaps and heaps.

One enemy lying on top of the another.

It’s like they want to pile upon you, like a rugby scrum, yet what I have placed in you is so much stronger.

To the power of N.

It rages within you.

It burns within you.

I can see it in your eyes.

For I intend to burn down the enemies camp.

It’s like they are erecting a monolith to fear, doubt and worry, and aspiring to climb it!

Yet I have not given you this spirit.

For my fire burns upon you now.

An all consuming fire that does not consume that which it rests upon.

For the bush burns brightly, it draws attention to those who are discerning.

It says unto them come closer.

For you have no desire.

For you have no desire.

For you have no desire to engage in their form of combat.

For what is the point of ordering that which is rubbish?

Just throw it into the fire!

Let it burn!

Turn up the heat.

Hotter and hotter.

For here you find yourself wrestling with the old.

You want to stay in your shell and just burrow through the dirt.

Yet I have called you to arise.

I have called you to break free.

For now is the time to be elevated.

Say unto them come up higher.

Take a higher view.

Come up to my level.

For there is a great view up here.

You don’t negotiate with the captive whether they want to be free you just break the chains.

Yes Lord but you told Peter to get up, before the chains fell off.

Yes but he wanted to be free.

It looks to me that you are trying to find the key to the lock, when I have given you the power to break every chain.

For your enemy presses upon you.

Yet you will stand on the back of your enemy.

Just ask me for the words.

For you know I always answer that prayer.

How can he who is fired up reflect the dullness of those whom he meets?

Now is not the time to dim your light. Now is the time to be stirred up, now is the time to shine.

Here come and sit with me by the fire.

Just feel the warmth of my presence, the warmth of my embrace.

For my glory rises upon you.

All you need to do is open your arms, and your mouth.
