Restoration

And it flows…

The oil of joy.

The oil of anointing.

The oil of refreshment.

The oil of restoration.

This is no gap filler, this is my instrument of restoration.

It pours on the pot holes and they are restored, the rough, broken path made hole, good as new, better than new.

You feel the pain, the bruises, the hurt, the wounds, but I am unwinding the wounds, I’m restoring the broken, I’m filling the gaps.

For the rough shall be made smooth, the old tattered, worn out, shall be restored.

I’m beyond it.

While you are beyond it, I’ve been working on it, a masterpiece from the broken piece.

Prophesy that “a masterpiece from the broken piece”.

For is there any other option when my hand is upon it?

You say ” I’m tired of the wait, I’m feeling the weight, I’m exhausted from the wait, the weight, I’m tired of the last minute delivery, the overdue, the past due!”

Prophesy this “what is due is past, what is due is passed, that which is due has been overtaken!”

Did I not say “overtake” and recover all.

1 Samuel 30:8 And David inquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them? The Lord answered him, Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.

Did I not say the walls shall be rebuilt, have I not called you to rebuild?

My oil is your mortar.

First pour it upon yourself, be refreshed, be rebuilt, be strong, be renewed.

You struggle with the wait, weighed down by the wait, pressed down by the weight, annoyed and frustrated by the wait.

Yet the delay has served its purpose.

The weapon forged against you is now in your hand, the power of delay is now in your hand.

Take your time, consider it time in lieu.

Let’s go for a walk beside the still waters.

Psalms 23:2-3 He makes me lie down in fresh, tender green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but for His name’s sake.

At first the tremble, the shake, the relief, the outpouring, then the pouring out, the taking in, the breathing in, the drawing in.

In the storm remember my voice, focus on my voice, what stands out, what rises up, what is it that defines you?

Let me just say this once, you never have to apologise in any way for what decisions were made in the past, we consider those decisions good decisions, made with sound judgement. We are delighted by what you have provided to us, otherwise you would not be here! You need to understand this, we have searched far and wide, evaluated all options and nobody is doing what you do in the industry. We only intend to invite your competition in, only to tell them to get lost!

Amidst the storm, the raging voices of doubt, the words of the accuser echo in your ears, it is easy for you to agree with those imperfect words.

Yet have I not called you out? Have I not called you out on this?

Your own words speak to you, from your own instruction to your son “Do not allow your self to be defined by anyone but God and those whom you respect”. And more “give more weight to the words of those whom you respect, amplify those.”

For you have spoken well my son.

For you are the water walker, not the boat sitter, the one who steps out.

When the waves break you step out, you advance. Your destiny is breakthrough for I have wed you to the breaker!

Be lifted up, be renewed, be restored, for you shall be my instrument, my showcase for restoration, for the restored, for the redeemed. For I have called you by name, I have redeemed you, you are my chosen.

Isaiah 61:1-7 THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the physical and spiritual captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord the year of His favorand the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, To grant consolation and joy to those who mourn in Zion—to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment expressive of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit—that they may be called oaks of righteousness lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations. Aliens shall stand ready and feed your flocks, and foreigners shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. But you shall be called the priests of the Lord; people will speak of you as the ministers of our God. You shall eat the wealth of the nations, and the glory once that of your captors shall be yours. Instead of your former shame you shall have a twofold recompense; instead of dishonor and reproach your people shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double what they had forfeited; everlasting joy shall be theirs.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
