Rest on the break
Rest on the break
Rest on the brake. Lean on the break. Press on the brake.
Slow progress. Slow, to progress!
Rest on my provision. Rest and leave the rest to me.
Lie on the break, relax on the break. Take a break.
Grasp the break, hold on to the break, hold fast to the break.
Breathe, take a breath. Breathe in, breathe again, don’t hold your breath. Do not be alarmed. You need no alarm, you can sleep in!
Recharge, so that you can re charge. I’m giving you a break. Don’t you get it? I’m actually giving you a “break”. I am the “break” in your “through”. When you need a break, when you are through with your pain, when you have had enough. I am your “break!”. Take my “break” when you are “through”. Receive it joyfully. Take my break.
Come and rest a while. Why all the worry, why all the grief, why all the alarm, why the dis-quiet? Just be quiet. Be quiet. Stop all the noise, stop all the disturbance, be still. Come to a stop. Just STOP!
Take time out. Be separate from time. Time is of no consequence. My time never runs out. My timing is perfect. Just call my time “Perfect”.
Psalms 18:29-32 For by You I can run through a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect! The word of the Lord is tested and tried; He is a shield to all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him. For who is God except the Lord? Or who is the Rock save our God, The God who girds me with strength and makes my way perfect?
When you have suffered a little while, I will establish and strengthen you. You have suffered, now take a “little while”, for I am establishing you, I am strengthening you. Be strengthened. Be strong. Take hold of me once again. Take hold I say! Release your grip on that which you cannot control, get a grip on me. Take my hand!
1 Peter 5:10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.
Let your hands be strong. Just allow your hands to be strong again. Permit your hands to be strong. Be not weak with worry, take my strength. Trust me. Feed once more on my faithfulness. Be not unfaithful. Be not without faith. Take my faithfulness and be full! You can trust me to be faithful. For I have not forsaken you.
Psalms 37:3-5 Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.
I’m giving you a “break”, for it is the time to rest, will you receive my “brake”. Take a pause.
You have been going so fast, driving so hard. It is time to stop and take in the scenery. Describe the scene for me? It is a wide open vista, a calm sea, no a calm lake, the water laps softly at the edge. It is calm, it is a serene scene. It is not surreal, it is real.
Take a drive to the lake. Rest beside the still water. Breath in time with each wave. Take in the scene, take in the scenery. Pause to take it in, don’t worry about taking a picture, take in the moment, breathe, relax, chill.
I’m looking for the smile, the twinkle in your eye, the joy upon your face. It is then that I will know that you have received my gift. You feel it as punishment, as loss, but it is merely a pause, just a brake. The car will move again, the accelerator is still present. There will be a rush, a rapid movement. But now is the time to brake.
Just sit still. You said that you just wanted to sit and not stand, well just sit!
For when you are seated, I’m standing, I’m waiting on you, my “peace” attends to your way. Receive my peace in exchange for your pieces. Just receive it. Celebrate it. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives pieces, I give peace. Receive my peace. Just open your hands, your heart, your mouth, embrace my peace, hold on tight to peace. To relax, hold fast to peace, to joy, to hope and feed on my faithfulness, and SURELY you shall be fed.
For you know not the path, but you can be certain of the outcome.
Is it possible for me to fail? If it appears a defeat on the surface, it is because the victory is hidden, and yet to be revealed. I veil my approach in the storm, in the darkness. This gift is wrapped in the darkness, but will soon shine brighter that the noon day.
Did you get that? I veil “my approach”. My approach is veiled, hidden from the enemy.
Buried, killed, beyond hope, beyond pain, beyond suffering. Defeated, beyond hope. But my hope is beyond your thinking, beyond your intention, beyond your reality. When all of your hope is lost my hope is found. Release your hope and just receive mine. It is right here in found of you. Just make the exchange. Give me your hope and just take mine.
It’s unfair, it is not fair, it is not reasonable, it is beyond fair.
It is my grace…
I’ll hold on to your hope, just let it go, give it to me and take mine. For I am ALL hope, not your only hope but ALL hope. When you have given up all hope, just take me, take my hand, for I AM ALL HOPE!
You are hopeless, be hope less, abandon all hope, seriously, abandon all hope.
Then just receive me, invite me in, send me an invite.
For I am coming to your house!
You thought my last visit was awesome.
Well that was just a dress rehearsal. That was just a dry run. That was just a trial run. Just a “mock up”.
I’m preparing for the main event, the real show. The real party. The toast of the town. What I have for you, is more than you imagine, beyond your imagination, beyond your reality. Larger than you expect. You just have to “break free”, break free, get up and dance.
Seriously! I am not kidding! It may not be your favourite song, but it needs to be your experience. Break free from broken ness.
Just be free, take a break from bondage. No longer bound but free, not bound to be free, but now free. Operate in freedom. Be released. Free your mind from bondage. Give no regard to bonds, to binding, to boundaries.
Acts 16:26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the very foundations of the prison were shaken; and at once all the doors were opened and everyone’s shackles were unfastened.
So prepare the invite, address it to me, put a date on it, and expect me to show up! Really! Just let me know when you are “free”. You can bind me to a date as long as you are “free”, as long as you are unbound.
