Resistance is Futile

Resistance

Resistance is futile.

Definition of Futile: incapable of producing any useful result; pointless.

Say to your enemy “resistance is futile, without point, of no point, is pointless”

For what impact does a feather have on the movement of the strongest man?

For he claws at you.

He attempts to slow your advance.

He seeks to cause you to stumble.

He seeks for you to fall, to fall flat, to fall flat on your face.

He says to you “be downcast, cast yourself down, throw yourself down, take yourself down, come down, be down, push yourself down, hold yourself down. Be held back, hold yourself back, stay back, feel the power of that which resists you”.

Yet I say to you it is just a feather.

I say to you it is merely a feather.

For what power does a feather have to stop my advance?

For I declare it is without strength, it has no strength, it lacks strength.

For that which comes against you has no strength.

Do not be deceived, for your enemy tries to convince you of his power, of his strength, and that you have no strength.

Yet my power rests within you.

My power is at rest within you.

My power rests upon you.

My power is vested within you.

My power is invested in you.

For I push against that which pushes against you.

Let me say that again.

For I push against that which pushes against you.

For there is no boundary that I am not able to cross.

There is no wall high enough, or strong enough to resist my advance.

It was no coincidence that when entering the land of the promise, my chosen came on the place with the greatest resistance.

Yet the walls fell down at the sound of my word.

I paraded the weakness, the impotence of man, in front of the puny strength of your opponent.

You could see him laughing at you as you walked.

For there was great weakness in the way you walked.

The tears falling from the face of great men. The struggle to walk, the effort to make progress.

All the while your enemy laughed at your progress.

Round and round.

Round and round.

Round and round.

Round and round.

Round and round in circles.

Going around in circles.

What is the point of going around in circles?

For it looked like a pointless display.

Yet it perfectly displayed my point.

For it is not by might, or strength but my spirit, by my word that you advance.

Just say the word and you shall advance.

For nothing the enemy puts in your way shall have any impact.

All he will see is the great futility of his power.

For my purpose cannot be resisted.

My progress cannot be slowed.

And the walls shall come crumbling down.

It is inevitable that the walls shall fall.

Say to that which resists you: “There shall be a great falling, the falling of he who was so puffed up, great will be the fallout, great shall be the falling, great shall be the plunder, all shall hear of the falling, of the falling out, many shall fear and fall back”.

For your enemy shall shout “fall back, fall back, for we have no fallback, fallback, fallback for we are overcome”

For you know how I roll.

For you know how I roll.

For I parade the puny and impotent before the mighty and declare this is not a fair fight.

For the falling comes with no effort, no action, only my word.

Stand upon my word, rest upon my word.

For once the time of silence ends, the word is spoken, and everything changes.

For the season of silence is over.

My word has gone out.

Tell all that my word has gone out.

Speak all that I have commanded you to say.

For it shall be as you declare.

Joshua 6:1-5 NOW JERICHO [a fenced town with high walls] was tightly closed because of the Israelites; no one went out or came in. And the Lord said to Joshua, See, I have given Jericho, its king and mighty men of valor, into your hands. You shall march around the enclosure, all the men of war going around the city once. This you shall do for six days. And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns; and on the seventh day you shall march around the enclosure seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. When they make a long blast with the ram’s horn and you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the enclosure shall fall down in its place and the people shall go up [over it], every man straight before him.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
