Release

The dam is broken, the chains are broken.

Be released.

Why do you sit with brokenness all around?

For I have broken that which binds you. I have broken the bounds, I have broken the boundary.

For my flow cannot be halted, my reserve is no reservoir, my reserve has no limit, is uncontained, is beyond containment.

Why do you wrestle with brokenness? I have broken it, be free, be free of that which confines you.

I have broken the wall, I have given you access. The wall comes down, and I present brokenness before you. For I have broken through.

Joshua 6:20 So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, they raised a great shout, and Jericho’s wall fell down in its place, so that the Israelites went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

Step over, be over, invade that which is broken. Claim the ground, possess the boundary.

You feel it now, you remember it now. For I have tied your hand to the boundary line. Push back, push out, release the flow. For I am bursting at the seams, I am pushing against the ties, the threads, the cords, the bindings, the seams.

I have broken the seems. The “it seems to me”, the “I’m sensing”, the “I’m feeling”. I’m apprehending, apprehension. I am binding fear. I am casting out fear.

The seeming speculation, the false imagining, the “what if this”, the “what if that”.

Blow the horn, blast the trumpet of triumph. Speak order in the place of chaos.

“Lord it over them”. Declare over them. Make a declaration. Order a declaration. Declare order. Spell it out for them.

Tell them “I see it like this”. Narrate the story. Tell it like it is, then tell them like it could be.

For they are broken, and they know not how to put themselves back together. They strive for order, but know not the sequence. Their pattern is broken, their boundary broken. They strive to keep it together, but their binding is broken.

Strong are the cords that bind us.

There is strength in my binding.

Have I not called you to bind up the broken?

Establish a new binding, a new boundary, a new definition, a new way, a new pattern, a new flow, a new reserve, a new movement, a new possession, a new atmosphere, a new climate, a new approach, a new look, a new posture, a new stance, a new gait, a new joy, a new peace, a new confidence, a new expansion.

Colossians 3:14-15 And above all these put on love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony. And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state to which as members of Christ’s one body you were also called to live. And be thankful (appreciative), giving praise to God always.

This is not going to be like the old. This is transformative.

Isaiah 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known. I will make darkness into light before them and make uneven places into a plain. These things I have determined to do for them; and I will not leave them forsaken.

The DNA is the same, but the shape of things to come, bears no resemblance to that which was before. The butterfly bears no resemblance to the caterpillar from whence it came. The wings carry the body, the legs rest on that which previously the caterpillar could not possess.

This is a new way, a new means of transportation. A new method. The butterfly has legs, but no longer crawls, the wings carry that which was once transported by the legs.

My binding transforms. It is the cocoon of transformation, the repository, the depository, the place of the deposit, the place where brokenness is transformed. Where that which restrained or constrained or limited is broken. The binding is broken, for the captive to be released. For that which is within must be exposed, must be reflected in that which is without.

That which is within must now be displayed without. The wings within must now be manifested without.

Come into the place of confinement, to be healed, to become more, to become full, to become all.

My incubator, my womb of transformation, be bound, to be free.

Take flight, possess that which is above. Rewrite the rule book. Establish a new pattern.

Possess the new, rise up, inhabit that which is above, and rule over that which is beneath.

Carry my seed, dominate the landscape.

Your territory is expanded, your mobility transformed, your view elevated.

Isaiah 43:18-19 Do not earnestly remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it?….

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
