Refuge

What is the matter?

What is it that troubles you? What is trouble? What is it that burdens you? What is it that you carry?

What is your place of refuge? From whence do you regain your strength?

Who is it that makes you strong?

Who is it that is capable of protecting you?

What does real safety look like?

What is the point of safety?

Psalms 18:1-3 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord, who spoke the words of this song to the Lord on the day when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said: I LOVE You fervently and devotedly, O Lord, my Strength. The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower. I will call upon the Lord, Who is to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.

Why do you crave the fortress? Is this not the place of confinement, of restriction, of containment?

Have I not called you to freedom? Have I not commanded you to GO OUT!

Jeremiah 1:18 For I, behold, I have made you this day a fortified city and an iron pillar and bronze walls against the whole land—against the successive kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land giving you divine strength which no hostile power can overcome.

Have I not called you to possess? Have I not carried you? Do you not “carry” me?

Do you know what you possess?

“For I am persuaded that He is able to do, exceedingly, far and above all we ask, think or imagine. Beyond our wildest hopes and dreams. Exceedingly above and beyond.”

What is it that you will forgo? What is it that is forgone? What is it that you will go for?

I say “go for” it, this is not about what is “for go”, but this is about “forgone”.

This is not about what you can man-u-facture. This is about what I have factored. 0 x Me = multiplication. Nothing x Me = some-thing. But more than some thing, everything.

Am I not the author of your destiny? Have I not planned this out from the beginning? Have I not started with the end in mind? Have I not ordered your steps, placed them out in sequence, with full intent, with careful planning?

You smile when your daughter says, “I found this RANDOM word for you”. You smile because nothing for you is random! Everything has a purpose, one thing always leads to another. Only a dot to be connected to another dot. You see the pattern, you define the process, you outline and confirm your understanding.

Prophesy alignment. For that which does not look like a fit, speak “alignment” expect alignment, expect a result, expect not a fragment but wholeness.

If you find a piece, you shall have peace, for it aligns with wholeness. There is no isolation, only connection, no part that is not set apart. No piece that shall not bring forth peace.

What is your posture? Buffeted by the waves? Or walking with confidence upon them? Have I not commanded you to come! Is this not your function? Is it not your destiny to place your foot upon the peak, upon that which rises against you? Do you not see? Your foot is meant to rest upon that which comes against you! Rest upon it. Just rest. Put your foot in its rightful place. Step by step. For I have commanded it to be so.

Stand upon that which opposes you. Be elevated by that which rises beneath you. For the rising against shall only serve to elevate you.

You need no place of refuge, for I am your refuge and strength, and very present help in time of trouble. It is no trouble, no trouble, really it is NO trouble. With me there is no trouble, there is an absence of trouble. Walk with me in the storm and you shall make progress, you shall reach your destination, there shall be calm. Be calm, walk in peace, be at peace.

Psalms 46:1-3 GOD IS our Refuge and Strength a very present and well-proved help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas, Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult. Selah pause, and calmly think of that!

Why did I not calm the water, in order to go across? For the waves elevated my path, carried my feet, lifted me up.

Hi, I'm Seedcaster

This site is about elevating the word, lifting what God says higher than our circumstance -what we see with our own eyes, our perspectives of knowledge and understanding.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
