Pushing the Edge

For I am pressing against the edge.

Extending the edge.

Pushing against the limit.

Pushing against that which limits.

Expanding the circumference of your territory.

An explosion on the edge.

A blast upon the edge.

An uplift upon the edge.

Greater impact.

Expansive impact.

More than the size of that which impacts.

My footprint over the edge.

For you shall place your foot upon the shore.

For in a moment you shall be over the edge.

In a moment you shall establish a new edge.

For your foot shall make a new edge.

A new imprint on the uncharted land.

For I am mounting an invasion.

For the old invades that which is new.

For the old invades that which is new.

For the extension of your foot establishes a new edge.

Yet this is no small thing.

For I have equipped you for this season, for this moment.

For the edge expands before you.

For when you look up what is it you see?

A huge container ship laying down its anchor on an uncharted shore. In a moment the edge of the ship opens out and down and a huge army of vehicles like tanks but without weapons emerging behind me as I walked. And wherever I walked a road was established behind me. Whole new communities forming behind me. Trees and grass and streams and life an a whole new world established in the desert place.

For the old shall establish the new.

Beyond the edge.

Overflow upon the edge.

An expanded edge.

First the smooth impact.

Then the expanded impact.

Then the explosive impact.

A pushing against the edge.

An extension of the boundary.

The inhabitation of new territories.

For this is your land.

This is your inheritance.

This is the land of the promise.

For it unfolds before you now.

For it unfurls before you.

Like a scroll of my promises it unfurls before you now.

As you walk you will see my promise manifest before you as you declare it, it shall be as you describe it.

Be unlimited. Imagine it and it shall be manifest.

Micah 7:11
In the day that your walls are to be built [a day for building], in that day shall the boundary [of Israel] be far extended and the decree [against her] be far removed.

Micah 7:13-17
Yet shall the earth be desolate because of those who dwell in it, for the fruit of their doings.
Rule and feed Your people with Your rod and scepter, the flock of Your inheritance who dwell alone in a forest in the midst of Carmel [a garden land]; they shall feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
As in the days of your coming forth from the land of Egypt, I will show them marvelous things.
The nations shall see [God’s deliverance] and be ashamed of all their might [which cannot be compared to His]. They shall lay their hands upon their mouths in consternation; their ears shall be deaf.
They shall lick the dust like a serpent; like crawling things of the earth they shall come trembling out of their strongholds and close places. They shall turn and come with fear and dread to the Lord our God and shall be afraid and stand in awe because of You [O Lord].

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
