Pursuit

Pursuit

What are you pursuing? I love the thrill of the chase.

Pursuit of the dream, is not the dream about pursuit?

The drive, the chase, the movement, the desire, the passion, the attraction. Is it really about the destination? For when you arrive, you just pause for a few minutes, take a few pictures and then you are off again.

It is not about movement? You like to move. When down, you resist the urge to wallow, you push up and go, go out, get moving. You can’t sit still.

“Driving onwards”, is what defines you. Moving forward is the only option.

When you sit still your mind is in “drive” not “park”.

“Come away with me”, is your word, your cue, the snap of the frame that signals “action!”

You went to bed with these words and now again they echo in your ears.

Forget the quiet time, when I’m with you I like it up loud. I love to go driving together, it is awesome, what a ride, what a rush!

I love to break the rules! I am unconventional. I don’t follow tradition. I like to do the new thing. I have a program of continuous improvement. My word is progression. One thing always leads to another. Always leads to a higher place. Even from the depths of the mire I will lift you higher, to the high place, to the place of setting.

To the place of setting, where you are all set, where the table is set, where the preparations are complete, where the people can dine.

Wow!

How do you you feel about the fact that I have brought you to a party?! Lots of people seated at the table, that I have invited. But this is no surprise party, this is your destiny!

I want to take you to a place that is new for you!

This is your story, “the son of the King”, crippled by circumstance, called out from the place of no communication, “for the king has need of you!”, come and sit at the table, “be present at our table”… Lord!

2 Samuel 9:7-11 David said to him, Fear not, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your father [grandfather], and you shall eat at my table always. And [the cripple] bowed himself and said, What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I am? Then the king called to Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said to him, I have given your master’s son [grandson] all that belonged to Saul and to all his house. And you shall till the land for him, you, your sons, and your servants, and you shall bring in the produce, that your master’s heir may have food to eat; but Mephibosheth, your master’s son [grandson], shall eat always at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants. Then Ziba said to the king, Your servant will do according to all my lord the king commands. So Mephibosheth ate at David’s table as one of the king’s sons.

Imagine this…. The one who has retreated into seclusion, seated at the place of honour, by the King. Laughing, connecting, engaging, releasing my power, my words, my glory! Imagine that!

Unbelievable!…. No!

Did you not just experience it! At your point of exhaustion, when you did not know where to go, and could not find your way, I lead you to a night of laughter that you did not expect. Even those who were stressed and pressured, laughed at your jokes, even the most serious, burst forth into laughter!….

What a laugh!

What have you learnt from this?

Let me take you places you are afraid to go, take my hand, take a seat. Stop moving, sit and be released! Let me flow, allow me to speak through you. Let me out. Just be the puppet, and let me open your mouth and speak for you!

I’ve been looking for you, regarding you, thinking of you, planning for this moment, preparing, pursuing.

2 Samuel 9:3 The king said, Is there not still someone of the house of Saul to whom I may show the [unfailing, unsought, unlimited] mercy and kindness of God?….

Come away with me, follow me, don’t be shy. Get excited about what is about to happen. You will marvel, for it shall be marvelous! Enjoy, enable joy, release joy, overflow with joy, laugh yourself to tears, this is going to be the best party!

Hi, I'm Seedcaster

This site is about elevating the word, lifting what God says higher than our circumstance -what we see with our own eyes, our perspectives of knowledge and understanding.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
