Present

Here we are.

In his absence I am present.

When you are lost for words.

When you feel alone in the darkness, I am here.

I sense your presence, I feel your presence

I am here for you.

I feel the warmth of your embrace. The love from your touch.

For I know the love he had for you.

You can still see his face, as he reached towards you for the last time. As he took his last breath, his eyes were upon you.

It is fitting that as he was there for you, in the end the end you were there for him.

You held his hand one last time, as he breathed his last.

In that moment, at that time, you knew he was with me.

Your first step was towards his beloved, to hold her hand, to be with her, to care for her.

For in his absence you were present.

In his absence I am present.

You see his fingerprints on your children, like he hand laid his own hands on them and blessed them.

You see the joy and delight on their face as they speak of me.

It is like a warm blanked of my love wrapped around them.

For his affection towards them, well represented my affection towards them.

For now they know in part, then they will know in full.

For he liked to hold the hand of his beloved just as you do.

I know you miss the way he cared for you.

Yet what have I showed you now?

The picture of my youth, standing tall upon a high pinnacle, looking out across the land.

You are not an ordinary person!

You were designed to stand out in a crowd.

You were designed to stand above a crowd.

For the one who stands before, is the one who is set apart.

The one who stands alone, stands with me.

The one of manifest authority, manifests my authority.

For you remember well, the voice of his authority.

His words still impact you now.

For you have the mind of Christ!

For he was not shy in expressing his passion!

A man of great passion.

Yet the former shall be far exceeded by the latter!

What is it you see right now?

Surrounded on all sides by a huge firestorm, growing higher and higher, reaching up to touch my hand.

Yet it is not as it seems.

You believe it is the work of the enemy, coming to burn up the last of that which you value.

Yet this fire flows from your hand.

How can the man of fire, be burnt?

Did I not say, “when you pass through the waters they will not overwhelm you, when you pass through the fire, the flames will not kindle upon you, for I am with you.”

For it was time to pass the baton.

From your earthly father to your Heavenly Father!

For it is time to go to a whole new level.

You keep thinking this is an incremental thing.

But this work shall have an order of magnitude.

An order of magnitude.

For I have ordered you magnitude.

An amplification of all that is to come, a proclamation of victory, a royal decree, sealed with my endorsement.

I see you wondering whether you have made the right decision, but ask me for more, expect more, plan for so much more.

For what is it you see now?

The planting of a single seed in the desert sand, and then in an instant, a lush green pasture.

Ask yourself this question, “What if I have prepared an abundant harvest for you?”

What if this soil is the most fertile you have ever seen?

What if what is to come is so much better than before?

What if you are that which was missing?

What if they have been looking for you for so long?

What if they have been seeking that which was hidden until now?

It is time to come out of hiding.

It is time to announce your presence.

It is time to announce my presence.

For this is your present.
