Powerfully Weak

Powerfully Weak

What do you want to say Lord?

I’m weary….

For now is the opportune time, the time of opportunity, the time to prospect, the time to sift, to shake things up, to offload the dross, to cast out the dregs. It is all in the wrist action, the action of the wrist, the movement of the hand, the hand that shakes. It’s time to move it, shake it, grasp it, hold it. Now is the time of connection, of bonds, not bondage. New bonds, new connections forged. The melding, the moulding, the union. It is all in the touch, evidence of the posture, the attitude, the intent, the position, the desire. Be confident, exuberant, and expansive. Not in your self, not in your abilities, not in your capacity, but in the Holy of Israel. Be set apart, stand out in the crowd, but not distant, distinct but not distant, as one who possesses all, but embraces those with nothing. Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine, oh what a foretaste of glory divine. Do you believe it? Am I not your possession, do you not possess me, am I not possessed by you? I am consumed by you, I delight in you. My power rests in you, illuminates you, shines brightly in you. Do you not see the glow radiating from your fingertips? 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me! So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength).

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
