Power

Power to perform.

Power to restore.

Power to release strength.

Power to remove.

Power to move.

Power to build.

Power to accomplish.

Power to shake.

Power to tear down.

Power to plant.

Power to lift.

Power to withstand.

Power to hold.

Power to grasp.

Power to retain.

Power to obtain.

Power to recover.

Power is efficiency, ability and might.

Power to perform.

Power to increase.

Power to accelerate.

Power to climb.

Power to elevate.

Power to push, to push back, to push forward.

For I am revealing my power.

My power manifests itself.

My power visibly, tangibly, evident.

Colossians 1:11-13 We pray that you may be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory, to exercise every kind of endurance and patience (perseverance and forbearance) with joy, Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share theportion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light. The Father has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

My power to break traction, to draw attention, to emanate, to resonate, to erupt, to bellow, to roar, to proclaim, to announce.

Oh the joy of it all, it bursts forth across the land.

I’m attracting attention.

The roar, the overwhelming advantage, the advantage that overwhelms.

You are still laughing about it, I love that you are still laughing about it, for I have given you the power that lingers.

Sitting at the starting point, lined up to compete, the competition ready to race, the smile formed on your dial, the confidence I have been looking for.

You gave him a head start, and then you felt the power beneath you erupt.

It was unexpected, for you had forgotten the “sports mode” you had selected earlier.

In an instant, in a moment, all heaven broke loose, you sensed the loss of traction, the power within, overcoming the weight, the grip, the circumstance.

You should have seen the look on your face, it was priceless, I’m still cracking up over it.

Your mouth dropped wide open, your eyes grew so bright, and I heard the gasp of breath from your lips.

In an instant, in a moment, like in a time warp you flew past your opponent, and left him for dead.

Yes that is right you left him for dead. It was like he was dead, so incapable was his movement, so lacking in power, so feeble in his strength.

I love your new “sports mode”, from now on let’s call it the joy mode.

For I have given you the power to release joy.

Romans 15:13 May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing through the experience of your faith that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.

This site is about elevating the word, lifting what God says higher than our circumstance -what we see with our own eyes, our perspectives of knowledge and understanding.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
