Pass Sentence
Pass sentence.
Passed sentence.
Move pass the sentence.
Deuteronomy 32:36 For the Lord will revoke sentence for His people and relent for His servants’ sake when He sees that their power is gone and none remains, whether bond or free.
Move past judgement.
John 3:17 For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
Not before sentence, but now after sentence.
What was the sentence? It has been erased. Whited out. It is irrelevant. It is no longer relevant. No longer relate to it. Give it no power. Think of it no more.
John 8:5 Now Moses in the Law commanded us that such [women—offenders] shall be stoned to death. But what do You say [to do with her—what is Your sentence]?
I was just taking notes. It was only a note. A passing comment. A “passing” comment. Something to note in passing!
There is the sentence and then there is my word. How is it described? How is it spoken of? It is not a phrase, it is not words, but it is THE WORD.
“But just say the word!”
Luke 7:7 Neither did I consider myself worthy to come to You. But [just] speak a word, and my servant boy will be healed.
Just say the word, just speak the word and it shall be done!
“Don’t even come to my house, just say the word.”
Pass the sentence, but rest on my word, for I shall have the last word!
