Over the Edge

How do you feel?

How are you feeling?

What does it feel like?

What is it you see?

The great outpouring, the overflow, the overflowing over the edge, beyond the boundary.

Beyond the depths of despair.

Beyond the capacity.

Beyond the edge.

Over the edge.

Another drop in, becomes another drop out.

The drop in, and the drop out.

Over the edge.

Beyond the edge.

The flood of emotion.

The flood of tears.

The capturing of the tear.

The basin of tears.

First one, then another, one after another.

The pursuit of another.

One pursuing another.

The chasing after.

The flow on affect.

The flow on effect.

Cause and effect my love.

The resting upon.

The resting on.

The outpouring.

The pouring out.

Beyond your expectation.

More than you expect.

More than you can contain.

The light illuminating the darkness.

Gleaming upon the edge.

The fascination with the edge.

The highlight.

The highlighted edge.

For I have given you the edge.

For I have given you the edge.

For I have given you the edge.

For I have given you the edge.

More than enough.

When you say enough, I will give you more.

For I have had enough of enough.

I say to enough “no more”.

In the place of enough, only more.

Over the edge.

Beyond the edge.

More than you can contain.

You loathe containment.

Loathe is not a strong enough word for you to describe it.

You do not fit the mould.

Let me say that again, you do not fit the mould.

Designed to be bigger than the boundary.

Designed not to fit in.

Designed for the edge.

Designed to go beyond the boundary.

Flow over, over flow, for you shall be over, you shall be over the edge.

Beyond the man made confinement, beyond the natural boundary.

Say to yourself “I don’t see it that way”.

Say to others “I don’t see it that way.”

Show them the door.

Show them the new way.

Show them the place beyond the limit.

Break the limit.

Is this not the yoke of oppression?

Break it, shatter it, annihilate it.

For there is no limit that I have set for you.

Isaiah 58:6-14 Rather is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every enslaving yoke? Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house—when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from the needs of your own flesh and blood? Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you conducting you to peace and prosperity, and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I am. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression wherever you find them, the finger pointed in scorn toward the oppressed or the godly, and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking, And if you pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday. And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not. And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of buildings that have laid waste for many generations; and you shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets to Dwell In. If you turn away your foot from traveling unduly on the Sabbath, from doing your own pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a spiritual delight, the holy day of the Lord honorable, and honor Him and it, not going your own way or seeking or finding your own pleasure or speaking with your own idle words, Then will you delight yourself in the Lord, and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth, and I will feed you with the heritage promised for you of Jacob your father; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

The repairer of the breach. That which is over the edge. That which covers the edge.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
