Out of the Box

From containment to attainment.

For you shall obtain, that which you seek to attain.

For attainment comes from a loss of containment.

For refinement comes from a loss of confinement.

For you shall obtain much from that which you have lost.

For what is it that falls from your hand?

From whence does it come?

For who is it that places that which you have in your hand?

You see the place of the falling, but not the place from which it comes.

What is it that I have etched upon the fabric of your mind?

The flow that falls from my hand. It is like a flowing stream, yet I cannot see the source of it.

What is the source of all that you have?

What is the point of origin?

What is your origin story?

Tell me from whence have you come?

Let me help you tell the story.

I came from a foreign land. From the place of knowledge and understanding. From the place of ease and calm. From the land of the shaking. From the place of great innovation. From the high place. From the place of royalty. Taken from the midst. Placed in to a foreign place. Pushed to conform. Not defined by the box. Unable to be contained.

Out from the box I have called you.

I have called you out of the box.

For it is not possible for you to think like another.

When someone draws you a box, you ask them why did they draw it that way?

What did they determine should be in, what was left out that should have been in?

When you draw, how does it look?

Lots of dots, and dashes, patterns forming but not fixed.

Yet they take shape…

This is how I see it…

Drops of colour, flowing into a stream, the stream of the promise.

Each with their own shape, defined by colour.

Coming together, forming together, flowing together.

Yet not diluted.

Distinct but together, flowing together.

Colour is your point of contrast.

Defined but fluid.

Self contained but un-contained.

Designed for movement, designed to flow within and without.

Under pressure, not diminished, not deformed, not reduced, but propelled, accelerated, focussed.

When limited, explosive, bursting forth all around. Uncontainable.

Without shape but not without purpose.

Without shape but not without substance.

Without shape but not without definition.

Fluid but possessing great power.

Flowing down from heaven above.

Coming from the place you cannot see.

From the place of thunder.

From the raging storm comes the greatest flow.

Isaiah 54:10-17 For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you. O you afflicted city, storm-tossed and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in fair colors in antimony to enhance their brilliance and lay your foundations with sapphires. And I will make your windows and pinnacles of sparkling agates or rubies, and your gates of shining carbuncles, and all your walls of your enclosures of precious stones. And all your spiritual children shall be disciples taught by the Lord and obedient to His will, and great shall be the peace and undisturbed composure of your children. You shall establish yourself in righteousness (rightness, in conformity with God’s will and order): you shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Behold, they may gather together and stir up strife, but it is not from Me. Whoever stirs up strife against you shall fall and surrender to you. Behold, I have created the smith who blows on the fire of coals and who produces a weapon for its purpose; and I have created the devastator to destroy. But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition is the heritage of the servants of the Lord those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me this is that which I impart to them as their justification, says the Lord.
