On the run

On the Run

What’s with all the running?

What are you running from?

What are you running towards?

Out of position.

Caught out of position.

As one rises, the other falls.

As one rises, the other falls.

The fall of the great and mighty.

The running towards.

The running away.

For you know what just happened.

First the running towards, then the running away.

You have heard the cry “fall back, fall back we are overcome”

For this is the time of the falling.

The falling of your opponent.

The falling of that which opposes you.

The falling in this place.

Oh how the mighty has fallen, they cry aloud.

It was so unexpected.

Yet from the moment you came, everything changed.

From the moment you heard, everything changed.

Compelled by purpose, compelled on purpose.

It was my purpose from the beginning.

There you were minding your own business, performing a routine task, yet I had called you out.

Not invited but sent by your father.

Not considered by man, but considered by me.

Fit for purpose.

By man considered unfit, unsuitable, not fit for consideration.

Not enrolled for service, not registered for consideration, not invited to come.

Disregarded by man, but regarded by me.

Yet what has caused you to come to a halt?

Have I not given you free reign.

Have I not called you to proclaim freedom?

What is going on?

From whence have you come?

From whence are you going?

Why go around in circles?

For I have called you by name.

I have selected you for this purpose, can anyone stand against you?

Yet all I want to do is sit, yet I cannot do so.

Have I not established your movement?

Have I not paved the way ahead?

Have I not prepared the way?

Am I not with you?

For your enemy has been defeated and lies before your feet, his head held high above your own.

Rising above as a beacon across the land, announcing to all, the work of your hand.

Proclaiming victory in the place of defeat.

Propelled forward, determined, stubbornly determined, resolved, resolute, focused, driven, running towards your destiny.

You know this moment.

You have seen it many times before, you have dreamt of this day, and yet now your enemy lies slain before.

No power, without power, for I have taken his breath away.

Yet what is it you see? Here let me help you with the words….

The look of abject fear all around. The shock and awe on every face. One moment smiling, indeed laughing at you, mocking you, pulling you down, holding you back. Yet you would not hold back. Propelled by purpose, driven towards a great victory. Not seeking attention, focused on the prize, driven towards the goal, running towards that which opposed your advance.

When you see the look of great dismay, of great disarray, be not alarmed, be not dismayed, burst forth with great joy, burst forth with the joy of greatness.

For you shall not be behind hand on that day.

I have called you to the fore.

To the forefront.

To be in front.

All shall look to you for direction, wondering what to do next.

Release the cry of your heart.

Be released, for I have released you.

Advance.

Advance and cry aloud.

For it is I that causes you to run.

Be on the run.

Run towards.

1 Samuel 17:48 When the Philistine came forward to meet David, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet the Philistine.

Overtake and recover all.

For I have given you the power to advance.

What is the nature of your inquiry?

For you know the answer.

You know my answer.

For my words shall be upon your lips.

Let go of your baggage.

For you will need no luggage for this trip.

Travel light.

For it is I that goes before you.

Have I not prepared the way?

Watch and see.

Watch and see.

Watch and see.

Say to your enemy look out!

Say to those with you look and see.

Say to those I have called to be with you, fear not, take up your position and look out for the victory I will work before you this day.

Tell your people, we are on the winning side.

Tell them to look out, to watch for me, to expect the unexpected, to look out for the unexpected.

Tell the giants, I am coming for them.

For 5 shall chase a hundred.

This is no fantasy, this shall be your reality.

Advance upon your enemy.

Take the lead, take charge, for I am with you to deliver you.

In this season you shall possess all that I have promised you.

Expect victory on the right and on the left.

Look for my hand at work.

Expect me to move on your behalf.

For this is not like before.

In this season, expect glory on the left and on the right, expect to be staggered by my brilliance.

For it is time to go to a whole new level.

The time of hiding under the radar is over.

Like a beacon you shall rise above it all.

Expect your opponent to be dazzled.

Proclaim.

Make a proclamation of victory, of freedom, of community, of abundance, of joy, of delight.

Expect me to back you up.

SERIOUSLY, expect me to back you up!

Speak I have commanded you to say, for this day I have appointed you commander.

What you say goes.

Jeremiah 1:17-18 But you [Jeremiah], gird up your loins! Arise and tell them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed and break down at the sight of their faces, lest I confound you before them and permit you to be overcome. For I, behold, I have made you this day a fortified city and an iron pillar and bronze walls against the whole land—against the [successive] kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land [giving you divine strength which no hostile power can overcome].

Let’s start with “stop crying out to me, and move forward.”

Fear not the limelight, fear not the spotlight, fear not the illumination, fear not the attention, fear not the look of dismay, the look of disarray, call forth ALIGNMENT.

Say to them, come into order, prophesy order, proclaim order, expect order, for this is my order.

Lift your expectation, lift your faith, expect the unbelievable, expect SO MUCH MORE, expect acceleration, expect advance, expect your enemy to bow before you, expect your words to have great power, expect power to be released, expect all that stands in your way to pull over.

For before you ask, I will answer.

For you have my endorsement, you have my power, you have my authority.

Ask of me and I will answer you.

For the time of your rising has come.

Beyond all you can imagine.

Beyond your belief.

Beyond your unbelief.

Beyond your expectation.

Here, take my hand and come up higher.

Higher and higher, higher and higher, higher and higher, more and more, more and more, on and on, more and more, higher and higher.

For the time of your rising is here.

Be lifted up.

For the time of your elevation has come.

From the broken step to the top step, a platform for my glory.

My lighthouse on a hill.

For your light has come, and my glory is revealed upon you.

Behold with unveiled face.

Refuse to veil your face.

Rely not on your own strength or ability, release my power, let your hands be strong and hardened.

Give permission to your hands.

Say unto your hands, be strong and hardened.

Release my power.

Release my glory.

Release my handiwork.

Expect everything to be different now.

Expect my power to be on display.

Expect results.

Expect influence, beyond your wildest imagination.

Expect ease.

Expect joy.

Expect delight.

Expect the absence of opposition.

For I have caused your enemy to be shaken, to be on the run, to fallback.

Now is the time of your advance.

Step forward in anticipation of glory.

Arise in anticipation of glory.

For IT SHALL BE GLORIOUS!

Expect me to perform all that I have promised.

Here let me help you with your unbelief.

Ask of me anything and watch me perform it.

Expect the unexpected.

More and more, more multiplied, multiplied more, more capacity, more ability, more focus, more joy, more delight, more influence, more power, more alignment.

For this is the time of release.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
