On Target

On Target

For the tension rises.

The higher place is my target.

The drawing out, the pulling back, the taking of the strain.

The stretching.

The elongation.

First the pre tense.

The place before the tension.

The thinking before the tension.

The lining up.

The focussed attention.

The focus of my attention.

The identification of the target.

The line of sight.

The resting of the arrow in your hand.

The placing of the arrow in the bow.

The removal of the item from that which quivers.

The elevation of that which you carry.

The line of fire.

The lining up before the fire.

The pulling back, the great stretch, the pull until the point of breaking.

The bending, the flexing, the straining back, in order to go forward.

For you push yourself forward.

The breaking upon the edge.

For you will not be behind on that day.

Full forward, fast forward, propelled forward.

Isaiah 49:1-3 LISTEN TO me, O isles and coastlands, and hearken, you peoples from afar. The Lord has called me from the womb; from the body of my mother He has named my name. And He has made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of His hand has He hid me and made me a polished arrow; in His quiver has He kept me close and concealed me. And [the Lord] said to me, You are My servant, Israel [you who strive with God and with men and prevail], in whom I will be glorified.

For you shall be released.

The great letting go.

The letting go of that which is great.

For you shall be on point.

You shall reach the target.

For my hand is upon this arrow, and I never miss my intended mark.

Release that which shall be released.

Stretch for that which is beyond you.

Did I not say that it is on the top shelf?

Stretch for it, reach for it, elevate yourself, stand on the tips of your toes. For you shall end up much higher that where you started.

From the place of the slip to the place of the grip.

From the place of the mud and the mire, to the high place.

From the place of the no go, to the place of the established going.

From the low place, to the high place.

From the place below, to the place above.

From the low ground, to the high ground.

For you shall be grounded.

From the place without growth, to the place of expansion.

From the remnant, to the whole.

From the patch, to the whole garment.

For that which is put on, shall come the whole thing.

For that which sort to fill the gap, to the whole covering.

From the wrestling in the mud, to the place of steady progress.

From the place of warfare to the place of peace.

For my peace invades.

For the time of the release is here.

The time of accelerated progress is here.

From here to there.

From here to there.

From here to there.

From your place to my place.

From your position to my position.

From your disappointment to my appointment.

From the miss to the hit.

Focus on my target.

Align your sight with mine.

All other vision shall be blurred.

For the target is far beyond your ability to comprehend.

Off in the distance.

Beyond the boundary.

Beyond the horizon.

Not a random release, a focussed release.

For I can see what I am looking at.

Propelled forward.

The one shall triumph over the many.

The one shall push back the many.

The one shall strike down the many.

The one charges against the many.

The one runs forward towards the many.

The one shall bring down the many.

For I am releasing you.

For I am accelerating your progress.

I am accelerating your movement.

I am releasing all that I have promised.

Ready, aim, fire.

2 Kings 13:15-17 And Elisha said to him, Take bow and arrows. And he took bow and arrows. And he said to the king of Israel, Put your hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it, and Elisha put his hands upon the king’s hands. And he said, Open the window to the east. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The Lord’s arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Syria. For you shall smite the Syrians in Aphek till you have destroyed them.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
