No Way
For the enemy speaks to you and says “No way!”
Say to him NO, way.
For you know the way, you know he, who is called “the way”.
For you have knowledge of the way as I reveal it to you.
When that which is to come is revealed, all will say “no way”. They will say “How did that happen?” They will say “no way, that could not be possible!” They will be beyond belief, they will stand back in awe and wonder.
For the enemy knows not the way I take, has no knowledge of the way, has no knowledge of my ways, cannot walk in my way, cannot stand in my way, cannot take my highway.
When I say to him it is my way or the highway, he only has one choice, and it is not the high way.
His natural way is the low way, the crawling way, the slivering way, for he moves with his belly upon the ground. He lies prostrate before me, face down, with his face to the ground.
He cannot see where he is going, he is always looking down, he has no foresight, no insight, no means to progress except that which I allow.
He is so wrapt up in what he is doing, he cannot comprehend what I am doing.
He sets you up for death and defeat, yet my light shines in the darkness and is not overcome by it.
I am the master of the turnaround.
Your enemy only knows how to turn back, how to turn back upon himself.
Just when he thinks he has got you trapped, I am your way, I am your way of escape, I am your way of victory, I am your path to victory.
I love to defeat him with his own attack.
I love it when he says “no way”, for you know how I deal with walls.
John 20:19 Then on that same first day of the week, when it was evening, though the disciples were behind closed doors for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace to you!
You know how I deal with those that surround me.
He sought to make a spectacle of my “defeat”, yet how did that go for him?
He invited me to come and meet with him in the pit, in the depths, in the dark place, in the dry place, in the downcast place, in the place where he was cast down, in the place where he is down and out.
How did that go for him?
For he invited me to make a way where there was no way.
He thought he had set me up, yet he really set himself up.
For how can the one who possesses the way, the one who is the way, be held captive, be restrained from movement?
For the one who holds the keys, has access to every door.
Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earthmust be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.
For there is no door, that I cannot open. There is no means, there are no circumstances where I can be bound.
For you are bound to be free.
I have tied you to the boundary line, it is time to broaden your scope, to enlarge the place of your territory, to lengthen the cords, and strengthen the stakes.
It is time to raise the stakes, it is time to put it all on the line, it is time for a new line, to draw the line.
Step in, step into my steps, for I have stepped in.
Step into my steps, for I have gone before you.
Walk in my footsteps.
Step by step, line by line, precept by precept.
For you shall make progress on the edge, upon the slippery slope, upon the dangerous heights.
For did I not promise to steady your steps and establish your goings?
For you shall cut through and set right, the weak and tottering knees, and make plain and discover the plain, and walk upon the plain, and you shall make it plain, you shall make it to the plain.
You feel it now don’t you. The struggle to move the weak and limping and palsied limbs. You have the will, you possess the will, you possess my will, you will move forward.
What is it you see, what is it you feel?
Your hands upon my legs, carrying, moving, steadying my steps, ensuring that my foot goes where you have gone before. Hebrews 12:12-14 So then, brace up and reinvigorate and set right your slackened and weakened and drooping hands and strengthen your feeble and palsied and tottering knees, And cut through and make firm and plain and smooth, straight paths for your feet yes, make them safe and upright and happy paths that go in the right direction, so that the lame and halting limbs may not be put out of joint, but rather may be cured. Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and holiness without which no one will ever see the Lord.
“Nothing can stand against”
Yes you heard these words, at the right time, from another “random” song.
For you know nothing can stand against.
Yet you know that you can stand against, for having done all you shall stand.
For when your opponent says, “no way”, will I not make a way?
You see it now don’t you, you woke up with it, for I have imprinted this upon your mind.
For the water falls, defining and establishing its own way, by the laws I have established.
You say to yourself “this is not the place to climb, for it is slippery”, it is the place that you think you have the greatest chance to fall.
Yet what is it that appears before you?
The established path, another step revealed, a way upwards, a path upwards, one step at a time.
Is this not my way?
Seriously, is this not my way?
For in the natural there appears to be no way, the path obscured by the raging torrent, the flow of that which falls from above.
Isaiah 43:18-21 Do not earnestly remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The beasts of the field honor Me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen, The people I formed for Myself, that they may set forth My praise and they shall do it.
Yet I will make a way for you, I will strengthen, establish and settle you.
First the strengthening, then the establishment, the established path, the path that is defined, that cannot be wiped out, the path written in stone. Then the settling.
For you shall be settled. For dust shall settle. The chaff blown up by the wind, shall settle. For you shall come to the place of the settling, the place of settlement.
1 Peter 5:7-11 Casting the whole of your care all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about youwatchfully. Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring in fierce hunger, seeking someone to seize upon and devour. Withstand him; be firm in faith against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined, knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace Who imparts all blessing and favor, Who has called you to His own eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the dominion (power, authority, rule) forever and ever. Amen (so be it).
