New Seasons

Isaiah 43:18-19
Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

That which is new lies before you.

For the former things are behind you.

The past has passed.

The new arrives before you.

That which was formed, now is birthed before you, is manifest before you.

That which I set aside now is open to you.

In the dry place a fountain springs forth.

In the barren place you will hear the sound of crying babies.

In the desolate place you will experience my fullness.

In the quiet place you shall hear the sound of rushing waters.

In the hot place you will experience the coolness of my wind.

For the former season is now behind you, and the new season now blossoms before you.

The lifeless season of endurance is over and gone, the promised abundance now sprouts forth.

For I am bringing life to that which was dead.

I am reforming that which was once formed.

That which was contained, now breaks free.

For he whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

The dry season is over and flow has come, the overflow has arrived, the rain now falls.

For I am equipping you for the harvest.

For the farmer does not continue to plough, once he has planted the seed.

And when the harvest is ripe he does not run the tractor over it.

For I will supply the means of harvest.

I will supply the harvesters to pick the fruit from that which I have sown.

Yet this will be your land, the land of produce.

Look not upon that which you have lost, look forward to all that shall be gained.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
