New Seasons

I want you to get this deep into your soul.

Pay attention.

Listen closely.

For I have something to say to you.

It is much more profound that you believe, has much more impact that you imagine.

So simple, yet so profound.

It is a new season!

Utter it from your mouth.

Behold it appears before you.

Taste it, feel it, see it, be in it, reside in it, take up your habitation within it.

For I am manifesting it before your very eyes.

Even your very covering was impacted.

For I gave you an immediate demonstration of it.

The removal of the layer.

The taking off of the layers.

For you don’t wear a jumper in the middle of summer.

Yet at the start of the season it feels the same as the last season.

Yes you know, now you know, for now you have experienced it for yourself.

You woke up cold, yet now you are warm, yet last week you woke up cold and stayed cold.

The atmosphere has changed, the environment has changed, the position of the sun has changed.

For you have no idea how the seasons work, yet here you are experiencing the change.

What is it that I showed you last night, that wok you up with a start?

A giant block of ice, resting upon the desert ground.

Yes the juxtaposition of the old, resting upon the new.

For without the new, all you would have is the old.

Yet it was such a great mystery to you.

For first comes the desert ground, the searing heat, the sun scorched land, where nothing can grow.

Then comes the fruit of the season where nothing grows, for in the depths of winter my growth lies dormant.

Yet here you are, the representation of the season of no growth, placed upon the environment where nothing grows.

Yet you know what happens next, the manifestation of no growth, placed in the environment where nothing grows, leads to much growth.

Isn’t this so much fun!

I am cracking up over this.

You can see the broad smile upon my face, and everything within you rises up in anticipation, you feel it bubbling up inside of you.

“So wonderful, so beautiful, marvellous and holy…”

For you can see my approach, you just know how I roll.

The product of the old season, placed upon the dry place, leads to abundant growth.

For how long have I been saying, behold the winter is past, it is over and gone!

Song of Songs 2:11-13 For, behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth and ripens her green figs, and the vines are in blossom and give forth their fragrance.Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

I just had to give you another demonstration of what the new season looks like…

I set you up so well, timed perfectly, arriving just at the perfect time, entering the space I allocated for you. You went to pay for the wash, and what was it that you found?

The previous person had paid more that he needed to, and had provided me a free wash. At first I thought there was only enough for a minute or two, but then I found it just kept adding time, more and more time.

I think you are finally getting this “more and more”.

For it is time to get ready for more and more.

More and more!

Unexpected blessings.

Blessings you did not expect.

Deals you did nothing to earn.

For the season of the reaping is so much different from the season of the sowing.

For who sows in the winter?

For the sowing is out of season!

Yes but everyone knows the time of the reaping, for that which was sown just bursts forth, it rises before you, it is presented to you without effort.

For you shall know what growth looks like.

For the season of growth is at hand.

For it appears before you.

The old melts into the new.

The fruit of the old season, manifest in the new season.

For the seed sown, has no form or comeliness that you would desire it, it cannot be eaten, in fact it is bitter to the taste, for at the time of the sowing it is not ripe for the eating. Yet from the seed comes much fruit, is it not a mystery to behold, a wonder to behold, from the inedible comes the fruit of wonder, the taste of wonder, the manifestation of wonder.

Isaiah 28:23-29 Give ear and hear my Isaiah’s voice; listen and hear my words. Does he who plows for sowing plow continually? Does he continue to plow and harrow the ground after it is smooth? When he has leveled its surface, does he not cast abroad the seed of dill or fennel and scatter cummin a seasoning, and put the wheat in rows, and barley in its intended place, and spelt an inferior kind of wheat as the border? And he trains each of them correctly for his God instructs him correctly and teaches him. For dill is not threshed with a sharp threshing instrument, nor is a cartwheel rolled over cummin; but dill is beaten off with a staff, and cummin with a rod by hand. Does one crush bread grain? No, he does not thresh it continuously. But when he has driven his cartwheel and his horses over it, he scatters it tossing it up to the wind without having crushed it. This also comes from the Lord of hosts, Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in wisdom and effectual working.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
