Mirage

A new thing.

Grafted in.

Many different fruits.

The single fruit next to the cluster of many fruits.

A new branch bursting forth from the trunk.

A tree that serves multiple purposes.

First the ground cover.

That which creeps across the ground. Unexpected fruit flowing across the ground. Fruit even without the flow. An unnatural flow. A flow that is not natural.

Bursting forth from that which flows.

The seed bursting from the fruit.

A tree bursting forth from the fruit.

Out of order.

What I have ordered is out of the natural order.

The tree with a vine as a branch.

The tree with many grafts.

A vine with grapes.

The branch with lemons.

The branch with oranges.

The branch with giant fruit like watermelons.

The tree that provides ground cover and canopy cover.

The tree with the branch of an oak.

A unique spiral.

From beneath to above. Like nothing seen before.

Like an organic Christmas tree.

I’m mixing up a new thing.

A grafting of the seed. The broken seeds melded together as one.

Bursting forth in unexpected ways.

The round fruit next to the tall skyscraper fruit.

I am displacing and replacing.

I am dismantling and remantling.

The breaking out of that which is new.

The pulling up of the flow and the pouring out of the flow.

The filling up of that which was empty.

For the mirage shall become a pool.

Isaiah 35:6-7
Then shall the lame man leap like a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing for joy. For waters shall break forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
And the burning sand and the mirage shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lay resting, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

One minute lying in the desert, the next going for a dip in the flow.

In a moment a breaking out.

A release of that which was blocked.

For it will appear from nowhere.

For it looks like it is not as it appears.

It appears to look like that which is it is not.

But it shall be as you see it.

Isaiah 49:8-11
Thus says the Lord, In an acceptable and favorable time I have heard and answered you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you; and I will preserve you and give you for a covenant to the people, to raise up and establish the land [from its present state of ruin] and to apportion and cause them to inherit the desolate [moral wastes of heathenism, their] heritages,
Saying to those who are bound, Come forth, and to those who are in [spiritual] darkness, Show yourselves [come into the light of the Sun of righteousness]. They shall feed inall the ways [in which they go], and their pastures shall be [not in deserts, but] on all the bare [grass-covered] hills.
They will not hunger or thirst, neither will mirage [mislead] or scorching wind or sun smite them; for He Who has mercy on them will lead them, and by springs of water will He guide them.
And I will make all My mountains a way, and My highways will be raised up.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
