Many Legs

For now it emerges.

In the midst of the splash

In the midst of the promise.

Dazzled by the colours at first.

A splash of many colours.

Drops of many colours.

A splash of many colours.

You see the back of it at first.

Many ridges on its back.

Flexible joints. Strong but flexible joints. Firm but flexible. Hard but possessing the capacity for great movement.

Emerging from the thrust of upward movement.

Emerging from the splash.

For the emergence shall make a splash.

And then you saw another aspect of it.

For I am revealing another aspect of it.

For you say unto yourself “does this thing have legs”.

The phrase "does this thing have legs" is often used metaphorically to inquire whether a particular idea, plan, or project has the potential for long-term sustainability or success. It's not meant to be taken literally but rather as a way of asking if something has the necessary support, foundation, or endurance to survive or thrive over time.

And this is my response.

A giant centipede, possessing many legs.

Emerging with a splash of the promise.

Many legs, a symbol of many promises revealed.

For with one leg there is a hopping movement, a restricted movement.

Yet with two legs some progress can be made.

Yet with the legs of many, movement is unprecedented.

With the legs of many progress cannot be stopped. No obstacle can stand in the way.

For if one leg loses traction the many others either possess a grip or can readily find one.

And if there is a gap that cannot be crossed, the back of it arches up, the body of it stretches itself above and beyond.

For the back legs can support the whole body of it. For not every leg must move in order for the whole body to move.

For the body contracts and extends itself in order to position itself to reach the other side.

For one is designed to be transformed into another.

Yet another is designed for greater movement across the ground.

For one has a few legs, and other has many.

For this thing will have many legs.

This is my promise to you.

Hi, I'm Seedcaster

This site is about elevating the word, lifting what God says higher than our circumstance -what we see with our own eyes, our perspectives of knowledge and understanding.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
