Let it rain

A lightning curtain, a curtain of light. My light shatters the darkness.

See and feel the drops calmly trickling down the edge of the lightning bolt

Then I saw rain drops trickling down the edge of the light. Down the sharp edge. Pooling with gentle drops into the pool at the base. This is a storm like no other. Intense darkness, overcome by the storm of light, a perimeter of light, and gentle rain that makes a quiet place to swim, to rest, to bathe in the light. Bathed in the light, bathing in the light, in the midst.

Imagine seeing and experiencing the most shocking of circumstances, right up close. The shock of the light as it shatters the darkness.

But then in the midst, experiencing the greatest calm from the trickle of the drops of rain, right on the thing that shocks you! I’ve experienced the shaking of all the things you hold on in this day, this week, this month, this year. This truly has been a stormy season!

But God says bathe in my calm in the midst of it all, my peace I give to you.

Jeremiah 29:11-14 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from captivity…

I’m taking this ground!

Then the curtain began to cut into the dark ground. The water providing the lubrication. No dust, no build up on the edge, for the edge remained sharp. “This is my saw, my instrument, after all I am the Carpenter!”

“I’m taking this ground, lifting it up, elevating it. Like a jigsaw cutting out the middle, the middle piece.”

Climb the edge, the sharp edge, the cutting edge, the edge that was cut. Scale the edge. Make an expedition to the edge, the pinnacle. For you are not an ordinary person! What I have is not ordinary. Look out for my extra!

So the purpose of the storm is that He might take us higher.

The current of your love is flowing in this place. (Electrical current, energy flow, the flow of light)

I feel the gentle rain falling down all around. Like mist gentle without heaviness. Smiling in the presence of his dew, his refreshing rain, his healing rain.

Hi, I'm Seedcaster

This site is about elevating the word, lifting what God says higher than our circumstance -what we see with our own eyes, our perspectives of knowledge and understanding.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
