Keeper

For I shall preserve your comings and your goings.

Look for the orderly procession.

For I am the keeper of the way.

For you shall keep your appointment.

Despite your disappointment you shall keep your appointment.

Am I not the preserver of your way?

Have I not commanded your steps?

Have I not crafted your way?

For there is only one choice.

For I am making this way.

This is the way I have made and you shall rejoice and be glad in it.

For I have ordered this exit.

There shall be an orderly exit.

Yet I have also established your coming.

Have I not invited you to this appointment?

For your way is preserved.

It is reserved and preserved.

Did I not say I would clear the path?

For I am clearing the path.

For I am moving out of the way, that which blocks the way.

Psalms 121:8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore. Psalms 121 A song for pilgrims ascending to Jerusalem. I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. The Lord himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

Brought you through.

Bought you through.

For I have brought you in and I will bring you through.

I’m holding on and won’t let go.

Do not come to your senses.

For your treasure has been locked up.

Your purpose has been confined.

Your very self imprisoned.

Placed in.

Now out of place.

Going to a new place.

Locked up without cause.

Now released for my cause.

That which held you back has now been removed.

For have opened the exit door.

For you shall safely pass. For I have given you rite of passage. I have given you rights of passage.

All that bound you up, now falls at your feet.

For your enemy sought to take you out.

Bound and thrown in to the pit.

Chained and bound.

But I have spoken this word.

“Bound to be loosed! For if you are bound it is only to demonstrate my freedom”

Watch this. He is a free demonstration.

A demonstration of freedom.

For they bolted the door and threw away the key.

They sought to shut you in and shut you up!

But they forgot that you are my key.

You are the master key.

You have the key of your Master!

Freedom comes by my touch.

For my hand is upon you!

Watch for me.

Watch my every move.

You see it now.

It starts with the unexpected.

The light.

My light.

Bursting forth.

Breaking forth.

Illuminating the darkness.

Yet your enemy is blind to my actions.

For I have told him to stand still. Stand at attention.

Frozen as you walk by.

For he has no capacity to touch what I have have appointed.

Try as he might, he has no might. He considers his might but cannot move.

For I am leading you out.

For you must take up your appointment.

For you shall keep your appointment.

You you shall retain your appointment.

For who shall take that which I have given to you?

For all shall hear about your escape.

The freedom maker. The freedom breaker.

For that which I have given you cannot be contained.

Up from the grave he arose a mighty victory over all his foes.

“You’re alive, you rose up from the grave”

How can that which cannot be killed be defeated?

Power beyond confinement.

Power and position.

For this is your appointment.

Acts 12:1 ABOUT THAT time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to afflict and oppress and torment some who belonged to the church. Acts 12:21-24 On an appointed day Herod arrayed himself in his royal robes, took his seat upon his throne, and addressed an oration to them. And the assembled people shouted, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man! And at once an angel of the Lord smote him and cut him down, because he did not give God the glory (the preeminence and kingly majesty that belong to Him as the supreme Ruler); and he was eaten by worms and died. But the Word of the Lord concerning the attainment through Christ of salvation in the kingdom of God continued to grow and spread.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
