Investment

This is no aimless investment.

A sprinkle here a trickle there. A small deposit.

I’ve been carrying your treasure for a long time.

You have gathered the crumbs, the overflow, the crumbs, the leftover.

But now I have broken the box, the treasure box, the vault.

The seams have burst. This is a bust.

I’ve stepped on it. I’ve pressed on it. I’ve stomped on it.

Pressed down. See the imprint.

You feel the corner. You see the corner. The trickle flowing down before you.

You hear the coins flowing the gold being poured out. Bucket after bucket. It comes pouring in. For you are worthy of great investment. Many will invest in you. Many will invest their hope in you. Many will give in support of your vision. Many will pay tribute.

Pressed down to make room for more. This is my extension. I’m extending you. I’m extending favour to you. You have my seal of approval. You have my backing. You can rely on me. For you have the kings approval.

(And this word from our pastor after the word from the Lord.)

John 6:27 But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval.”

The desolate place, the isolated shall be joined together. The empty place shall be filled. The dispossessed shall be my possession. Those abandoned shall experience my fullness. The isolated now together. In unity commanded, the blessing manifested. The dry bones now together. An army empowered to possess all that was lost, to possess the lost, to reclaim the lost. For the found has been lost, the ruin restored. More than the former glory, the glory unveiled, for glory to greater glory, for my glory.

I give you my seal. I have sealed the deal. It is under my authority. For I have declared it in advance. Advance and you shall possess it.

Off in the distance you see. I have broken the seal, I’ve ripped off the covers. I’ve broken the box. This is no piggy bank. This is my storehouse. The harvest stored in advance. I’ve been saving up for this day. It is time to advance and not withdraw. Advance in order to receive.

This treasure is yours. You see your self in isolation. You have withdrawn yourself, advance yourself. Be not isolated. Get it together man. Come together with me.

Step in. Possess all. Know what you possess. This is your inheritance. I’ve been saving it for you.

2 Corinthians 4:6-9 For God Who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts so as to beam forth the Light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God as it is manifest in the Person and is revealed in the face of Jesus Christ (the Messiah). However, we possess this precious treasure the divine Light of the Gospel in frail, human vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves. We are hedged in (pressed) on every side troubled and oppressed in every way, but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair; We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted to stand alone; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed;

You lack nothing. Possess everything.

Unveil. Pull back the veil. Open the curtains. Draw the curtains back. Unveil the treasure.

Joshua 1:11 Pass through the camp and command the people, Prepare your provisions, for within three days you shall pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess. Joshua 1:14-16 Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle shall dwell in the land which Moses gave you on this side of the Jordan, but all your mighty men of valor shall pass on before your brethren of the other tribes armed, and help them possess their land Until the Lord gives your brethren rest, as He has given you, and they also possess the land the Lord your God is giving them. Then you shall return to the land of your possession and possess it, the land Moses the Lord’s servant gave you on the sunrise side of the Jordan. They answered Joshua, All you command us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.
