Incapacitated

Who informed you of your capacity?

What is your source? Please cite your source?

From whence did you get your capacity?

What makes you capable?

Who determines when you are full?

Who set the limit?

Who set the pass mark?

Who set the test?

Who provides you with strength?

Who put breath in your lungs?

Who provides fullness?

Who brings overflow?

Who sets the boundary?

Who turns the tide?

Who causes a change in season?

For growth sprouts forth at my command!

The flowers bloom when I say so!

What effort does it take for them to grow?

What is their source of strength?

What determines the limit of their capacity?

For I provide the climate, I provide the soil, I bring forth the sun at my command.

For I am moving without restraint, I care not for your capacity.

For I give it no consideration.

I’m more interested in the weak than the strong.

For my strength is made perfect in your weakness.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) andshow themselves most effective in your weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, maypitch a tent over and dwell) upon me! So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak in human strength, then am I truly strong (able, powerfulin divine strength).

Just put on my strength, for I have got you covered.

Let the weak say I am strong, due to what I have done.

For when you feel pain, see gain.

Say to your circumstance… this is what gain looks like.

For in the desert fullness, in the place of pain joy.

For I am in your capacity. Not in capacity but I am in your capacity.

Your hand pushes forward, but my hand is with you.

We are up against it. For you are not up against it. My hand is pushing with yours.

For you have my strength. I am your source. I am with you.

1 Corinthians 1:25-28 This is because the foolish thing that has its source in God is wiser than men, and the weak thing that springs from God is stronger than men. For simply consider your own call, brethren; not many of you were considered to be wise according to human estimates and standards, not many influential and powerful, not many of high and noble birth. No for God selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame, and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame. And God also selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is lowborn and insignificant and branded and treated with contempt, even the things that are nothing, that He might depose and bring to nothing the things that are,

When you move I move with you. When you are beyond it, I am already there. I work beyond your strength, beyond your limit.

For I declare this is no contest.

The weak palsied hand without muscle, against the strongest enemy.

For I declare this is not a fair fight.

I calling it off before someone gets hurt. Seriously someone will get hurt.

For the ground shakes at my command. That which holds the table up shakes at my command. That which the enemy rests upon crumbles before he gets started.

For I am opposed to that which opposes you.

Can anything hold you back?

“I am not holding back, don’t hold back”

When the enemy says come up higher, he thinks he has won, yet he is already defeated, he has already conceded.

For it is beneath you. Seriously it is beneath you.

For I am above and not beneath. I am high and lifted up.

And your position is where I am. Take a stand with me, for I am standing with you.

For I have broken the arm of the Pharoah.

The strongest, the most powerful, shall fall before your feet, shall tremble before you.

For what they stand upon is my ground. They are trespassing. This is my ground.

For you stand upon a rock, all other ground is sinking stand.

That which they stand on, shall cause them to sink.

What you stand upon is fluid but shall cause you to rise.

For it shall be a whitewash.

For I am causing you to burst forth.

For you shall rise from the dry ground. Like a fountain bursting forth in the place of oppression, in the place of pressure, in the place of drought, in the place of abject dryness. In the place where nothing grows. In the place of withdrawal and fresh, unexpected outpouring.

For the mirage shall become a pool. Bursting forth, spraying all around.

Look it up….

Isaiah 35:6-8 Then shall the lame man leap like a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing for joy. For waters shall break forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. And the burning sand and the mirage shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lay resting, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. And a highway shall be there, and a way; and it shall be called the Holy Way. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for the redeemed; the wayfaring men, yes, the simple ones and fools, shall not err in it and lose their way.

…for this is the season of abundance.

You shall look for the well, but you shall find a fountain. For the drain shall become a fountain.

Beyond capacity, beyond containment, beyond confinement. Be released. For I have broken open the cisterns of the earth. It is time for the flood, a fresh outpouring.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
