In Your Dreams

In your dreams……

Luke 8:41 And there came a man named Jairus, who was a ruler of the synagogue. And falling at Jesus’ feet, he implored him to come to his house, Luke 8:49 While he was still speaking, someone from the ruler’s house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher any more.”

For she is not dead, only asleep.

Luke 8:52-53 And all were weeping and mourning for her, but he said, “Do not weep, for she is not dead but sleeping.” And they laughed at him, knowing that she was dead.

Bathed in the light of the dawn, the bright and morning star.

The radiance of the son, lightens the room. The ambient glow. A new ambience, a fresh glow.

The gentle tap, the feeling of presence. A sense of my presence. It floods the room.

Asleep in outdoors. There is no door, no wall. I’ve done some redecorating whilst you were asleep.

A comfortable bed, a warm glow, a bright atmosphere. An ambiance!

No darkness, no stench, death banished. Exiled death. Banished from the kingdom by the King of life!

Rest without fear. No need for shelter, no need for walls, no need for that which confines. No need for confinement. Your period of confinement is over.

Luke 8:54-55 But taking her by the hand he called, saying, “Child, arise.” And her spirit returned, and she got up at once…..

Awake my child. Arise and shine. Reflect my presence.

No more tears, for now is the time, now is the time, now is the time, it is time to wake up. Open your eyes. Smile.

Be joyful. It is time to eat, and to explore your room.

You will find it much larger than before, a room without walls, with a broad view of the country. With the morning light shining all around.

No need for light, for power, for I AM your light, I AM your power.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
