Handiwork
Is this not the work of my hands?
Is this not my handiwork?
My hand is upon your hand….
Just close your eyes, and allow me to move you.
Allow me to weave my magic.
For how is it you know how to breathe?
Who is it that enables you to move?
How is it that your hands move?
Here you find yourself, here you find yourself, staggered, staggering around, barely able to move.
Psalms 107:27-31 They reel to and fro and stagger like a drunken man and are at their wits’ end all their wisdom has come to nothing. Then they cry to the Lord in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses. He hushes the storm to a calm and to a gentle whisper, so that the waves of the sea are still. Then the men are glad because of the calm, and He brings them to their desired haven. Oh, that men would praise and confess to the Lord for His goodness and loving-kindness and His wonderful works to the children of men!
Was this not foretold?
Did I not say you shall be staggered at what I am doing?
How is it that which was lame made it to the Kings table?
Was he not carried?
Did I not cover him in his place of weakness?
Did I not cause him to take up his royal position?
Was this not his birthright?
Have I not given you this right from birth?
How is it you came to this place?
Who is it that brought you here?
Have I not ordered your steps, have I not established this movement?
Psalms 40:1-3 I WAITED patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up out of a horrible pit a pit of tumult and of destruction, out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings. And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord.
Yes through you I will establish this movement, I am making a move.
Yes you see it now, the breaking of that which stands in your way, the walls falling down, the quaking of that which is in your way.
For is this not the way of establishing?
I am making a way!
You wonder how it is you shall get into position, for it is not comfortable for you to move at this time?
You wonder how it is to be King, you wonder how it is to perform this role, you don’t know what to do.
Just be, for I have called you into being.
Acts 17:24-28 The God Who produced and formed the world and all things in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade shrines. Neither is He served by human hands, as though He lacked anything, for it is He Himself Who gives life and breath and all things to all people. And He made from one common origin, one source, one blood all nations of men to settle on the face of the earth, having definitely determined their allotted periods of time and the fixed boundaries of their habitation (their settlements, lands, and abodes), So that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after Him and find Him, although He is not far from each one of us. For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring.
Fear not the way, for I am the way!
This way has been established by me.
For there is a rustling in the trees, the sign of my advance has come.
Jeremiah 46:21-23 Also her hired troops in the midst of her are like fatted calves in the stall, for they also are turned back and are fleeing together; they do not stand, because the day of their calamity is coming upon them, the time of their visitation (their inspection and punishment). The sound of Egypt fleeing from the enemy is like the rustling of an escaping serpent, for her foes advance with a mighty army and come against her with axes, like those who fell trees and cut wood. They shall cut down her forest, says the Lord, though it is impenetrable, because they the invading army are more numerous than locusts and cannot be counted.
