Go Ahead

Go ahead.

For I have gone ahead.

Come out.

Head first.

For this my design.

For this is the way it works.

The hardest thing comes out first.

Break through the membrane.

Break through the veil.

Break through that which contains.

Break through that which contained you.

For first the break through. First the coming out of that which held you in place. First the coming out of a sticky situation. From the place wherein you were contained. For this was meant to be temporary. The birthing container. That which contained that which was to be born. My organic container. The container of expansion. The incubator of growth. The place designed to contain my growth. The womb that contained my child.

Push through.

For I have made a way where there was no way.

I have burst your bubble.

I have broken that which contained you.

I have released that which confined you.

I have opened the door for your exit.

I have opened the door for your entry.

For it opens before you.

Amidst the pressure.

Amidst the pain.

Amidst the contraction.

Amidst the expansion.

For that which pushes you shall give birth to you.

That which presses upon you shall release you.

First the placenta.

For what comes out first seems to contain much of what was put in. Yet it has no shape. Yet it is formless. Full of blood. A bloody mess. It was necessary for these things to come first. But this is not the true forerunner. For the real body of work is coming now.

For I have coated you with that which is slippery to enable an ease of passage. For the pressure shall not hold you fast, but shall push you out.

For your head was designed for this space. Let me say that again.

Your head was designed for this space.

Although solid and strong, at the point of the birthing, softer and more easily shaped to fit. For I have perfected this process. Fitting the hard thing into the soft thing, into the confined space, into the expanding place.

Your head was designed for this space.

To fill this space.

To engage this space.

To define this space.

For this is not just the place of love.

Not just the place of pleasure.

Not just the place to come and go.

But the place of conception.

The place of growth. The place of birth.

The place of delivery.

The place of the birth of delivery.

The birth of the one who will deliver.

For can you not feel the turning?

The turning of that which holds you back.

Like a key in a lock, you shall turn upon your side. Not to one side or another, on to the side of destiny.

For out comes the head.

Then the turning.

Then the pulling.

The turn from the pushing to the external pulling.

To the place of release.

Yet amidst all the pressure and the pain, you feel so at ease.

Indeed you will need to be woken from the sleep, from the ease.

For I will bring you out of the darkness into a great light. For I will cause the eyes of your heart to be enlightened. I will open your eyes to that which you have never seen before.

For the point of the disturbance is to awaken you to this new world I have set before you.

At first you may cry out with shock and awe. But soon your eyes will adjust.

Soon your mouth will open again.

Not only to consume, but more so to speak that which I have put in your heart.

For I have birthed you for this season.

For I have delivered you to be the forerunner. For I have chosen you to go ahead, to be the head, to be the first, to show my people the way.

So go ahead for I have gone before you.

Psalms 139:14-17
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid outbefore a single day had passed.

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.

They cannot be numbered!

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
