Go Ahead

Go ahead….

Go ahead and make my day!

Have I not given you the go ahead?

Have I not gone ahead of you?

For that which is ahead of you, is ahead of you, is greater than you, is bigger than you, is higher than you, is golden.

For the crown is before you you, a head of you, a gift for your head, an appointing, an immerse power, a compelling authority, an unquestioned authority.

For this is a precious crown, jewels crafted by my hand, shining and glittery upon your head, for this is what is ahead of you.

From herding sheep to commanding my army, yes commanding my army. What is your instruction? What is your declaration? What is it that you see ahead?

For the enemy taunts you, invites you in, invites you to agree with him, to join with him, wants you to join in the shaking, the trembling.

Yet at your advance, I will cause the ground upon which he stands to tremble under him. For he has underestimated you, he has undermined his position, he stands on that which is not secure.

For I have made the path under your feet, it holds you up, it holds you up, it supports your every step, it is the rocky path, the path of the rock, the path of the certain, the certain path, the path of the sure, the path of him who is sure.

Be sure of your position, you can be sure of your position, for you stand upon the path of the rock, all other ground is sinking sand.

Let there be a transference, give him that sinking feeling, for you shall not sink.

Let’s start from scratch, let’s start with the scratch, for I am barely scratching the surface.

You have regard for the scratch, your focus is on that which was defiled, that which was perfect, now imperfect.

Yet it is I that is scratching the surface. My hand is upon that which is imperfect.

Your thought is one of pain, of despair, of disappointment, of hopelessness.

My thought is more creative.

What shall we do with that scratch?

Restore it, remove it, reverse the curse, go back, fallback.

Why would I go back, when I have given you the go ahead?

What shall we make of it? For this day is made, I have made this day…

Rejoice and be glad in it…

Yes that is it, rejoice and be glad.

Go ahead and make my day!

You have the go ahead, what shall we do, I await your instruction.

You wrestle with that word, for how can one instruct he who knows all? He who has all authority?

Yet I want you to practice, giving instruction, I want you to understand the authority you have, and those under your command.

How many times have I shown you the multitudes under your command?

For you are not alone.

You were so sceptical when your beloved spoke of you to a client and said you would need about 12 people to replace the work you do.

The client sat there nodding and yet you sat there in disbelief.

Yet have I not called you legion!

You operate as the shepherd boy with the sling and yet I have anointed you to be king.

For what distinguishes the boy from the king. Is it not the crown upon his head?

Was this not the word I gave you when you asked me to show you why you were here and what I thought of you?

Psalms 45:1-9 MY HEART overflows with a goodly theme; I address my psalm to a King. My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer. You are fairer than the children of men; graciousness is poured upon Your lips; therefore God has blessed You forever. Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O mighty One, in Your glory and Your majesty! >And in Your majesty ride on triumphantly for the cause of truth, humility, and righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God); and let Your right hand guide You to tremendous things. Your arrows are sharp; the peoples fall under You; Your darts pierce the hearts of the King’s enemies. Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You love righteousness, uprightness, and right standing with God and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows. Your garments are all fragrant with myrrh, aloes, and cassia; stringed instruments make You glad. Kings’ daughters are among Your honorable women; at Your right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir.

You find it so easy to believe what I say about your future, and yet struggle with what I say about you.

Don’t try to be King, just be the King.

Have I not anointed you, have I not appointed you, have I not chosen you, have I not called you.

For the time is coming and is here now that you will establish my kingdom.

For the procession of the profession comes forth.

You see it now, step by step, line by line, the unfolding of my great plan, the unravelling of that which binds, the rise of freedom, the establishment of freedom, the release of freedom.

For I have placed in your hand the shackles of those imprisoned.

Zechariah 9:11-17 As for you also, because of and for the sake of the covenant of the Lord with His people, which was sealed with sprinkled covenant blood, I have released and sent forth your imprisoned people out of the waterless pit. Return to the stronghold of security and prosperity, you prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I will restore double your former prosperity to you. For I have bent Judah for Myself as My bow, filled the bow with Ephraim as My arrow, and will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and will make you as the sword of a mighty man. And the Lord shall be seen over them and His arrow shall go forth as the lightning, and the Lord God will blow the trumpet and will go forth in the windstorms of the south. The Lord of hosts shall defend and protect them; and they shall devour and they shall tread on their fallen enemies as on slingstones that have missed their aim, and they shall drink of victory and be noisy and turbulent as from wine and become full like bowls, like the corners of the altar. And the Lord their God will save them on that day as the flock of His people, for they shall be as the precious jewels of a crown, lifted high over and shining glitteringly upon His land. For how great is God’s goodness and how great is His beauty! And how great goodliness and beauty! Grain shall make the young men thrive and fresh wine the maidens.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
